If you were an NPC

Sometimes I imagine what my life would be like if I were in the Elder Scrolls universe. What race suits my personality the most? Would I stick to something safe like farming or something more daring like joining an army, or even becoming an adventurer? I find myself falling in line with the Bretons, pretty basic, and likely joining their army, as I'm joining the military in real life. I see myself training as a pretty standard solider, and perhaps rising in the ranks if I were to live long enough. So what about you guys? What race best suits your personality and upbringing, and what occupation/goals would you have in a world as crazy as Mundus?

It's a nerdy question, I know, but oh well.

  • I’m in college so I guess Winterhold College mage forme.

  • Well most of Skyrim seems populated by bandits, so probabilty says I'd likely be one.

    • There are around 700 bandits in skyrim from the start of the game, barring randomly spawned npcs and only 784 npcs that you can greet, so almost half the population is involved with some form of banditry. Guess it's the bandits for me aswell.

  • I suppose with my interest in the arts, as well as my background as a percussionist, I probably would fit in best at the Bard's College. (can't sing to save my life, though)

  • Honestly, I'd probably be quite happy as a laborer. Woodcutter, farmer, hunter, fisher, those all seem like lives I could enjoy. Or maybe learn a trade like smithing, alchemy, making mead, who knows. But definitely not adventuring or joining any kind of army. I'm not the protagonist, so I'd probably get wounded or killed and die young if I did.
