Let's have a Character Building Event/Challenge!!!

With summer already here and covid to keep us inside, there is plenty of time to play Skyrim. Unlike the last contest, this event will have no cash prizes, only street cred, and winners will be determined by number of likes or a poll.

Let's start this discussion by talking about possible themes for the event, or any challenges that each of us must undertake.

      Taking that idea and combining it with Elomar's could make a fun contest/challenge. Each participant chooses a Daedric Artifact to base their entire build around.

            Probably advise against as we have such a theme set to launch in August.

    Hmm. What about a character event that is built around the dragon priest masks. You have to wear one of the masks and must use the primary skills/playstyle that are enchanted into the mask in the build.

    Could be interesting since there are alot of different masks to choose from.

      Rhagot for example would be great for a character who bashes, power attacks and runs around a lot. Because of its hefty stamina enchantment. Krosis would be good for a character who dabbles in alchemy and archery etc....

    What about building a character around an in-game character class. There are plenty of classes in the uesp and it should be interesting. When I say classes I'm not referring the classic "warrior", if you check the list there are dozens of warriors classes with different skills and stats. Aside of the classic playstyles we all know there are others quite interesting. It comes to mind some ideas: an unbound dremora trying to set himself free of Mehrunes Dagon's influence, a witchblade of the Rech seeking to unite all forsworn clans, a khajiit pawnbroker wandering skyrim looking for odd items to sell (I call dibs on this one)

      I didn't know that list existed, and there are some cool classes on their, but it might be a bit too broad and we'll probably end up with builds that have almost no correlation

    How’s this sound for the theme?:

    Each participant picks a different race, and creates for example “The Old Khajiit” (dibs on Khajiit). We basically create an Old Orc type build but with every race except Orc. The build should play on themes of age as well as play into the race’s stereotypes and traditional skills.
