I just got back to Skyrim after a very long break. I enjoy my Altmer I created a long time ago with sneak, illusion and destruction as main skills and conjuration, heavy armor, enchanting and one handed as suppkot skills. It basically muffle and frenzy until the strongest remains who then has to fight his dead buddies again. Gear is Falmer armor and Miraak's sword, destroying the dawnguard etc.
I might turn this into a build but I am lazy as well.
I have a few builds in mind as well but don't know which skills to choose since all I can imagine is the primary gear so far
You can always ask for help on our discord server. You'll see that your builds will take shape quickly once you have some output from other people. Also, you can check The Archives as they are a great source of inspiration!
First I need to finish my Altmer though 😅
I procrastinated this for two years or so. And it is really a joy to play
I just got done with my shield build. which was hard and I wanna go back to level up my assassin character to play the quest that you unlock when you hit level 46 with the anniversary edition(the cause) because my OG character got corrupted due to unknown circumstances, my brother was playing on my computer and he said the entire thing crashed.. and after that getting started on my pacifist character all you need is just a lot of good loot, a lot of investment in the healing and non-hurtful magic, heavy armor, and heavy armor on the follower.
I took a look at my builds and my god are they medicore or below. The only good build is ACILLUS so now I just want to 'upgrade' my 'portofolio.' Probably won't be making crazy good builds, but at least they'll be a solid B+.
Hey, you don't have to be too hard on yourself. I think I've made some "medicore" builds as well. They're far from perfect and optimized because they're heavily reliant on mods, but I made these builds out of passion. I know most people make and share builds for other to test out, which is also my goal, but so far my builds are inspired from movie characters. If you're interested, you can check them out. My builds are definitely under ordinator/mods categories.
I myself am currently attempting to build a character centered around Elric of Melinbone. The frustrating part is trying to make a backstory that would make sense for him to be in Skyrim.
Perhaps make him an Altmer kinreeve? Or perhaps one of the last surviving Falmer?
Oh I totally forgot about the Snow Elves! I'm so dumb lol. If I can't find a suitable race mod, I'll definitely do something with the Altmer like you suggested. Thanks for the help! A variety of race choices will make this so much easier.
I got back into the game recently, working on a Valkyire themed build. Should be done fairly soon.
