Whose builds have you played?

Many would agree that perhaps the only thing in this group more motivating than likes and praise, is knowing someone has played your build and really enjoyed it. Ultimately we build not for the praise and the attention but to share our gaming experience with others.

Take a moment to share with us whose builds you've played and what did you enjoy about them. If you're more of a builder than a player share with us whose work, if any, you've drawn inspiration from.

  • Hmm, quite a few. I've played Mason's Heretic, and it was the first dark templar/paladin I played, um, I WAS playing your Riften's Most Wanted, BUT it eventually became a build of its own when I modified some stuff. Lemme think, I played Vazgen's Psygic Monk.....

  • I’ve played

Riftens most wanted by Curse and Raid

    the infiltrator by curse

    the dunmer warrior by tae

    bronze sentinel by mason

    pontys arcane assassin

    pontys nightingale swordsman

    pontys Nightguard

I’ve played more, that’s all I can think of at the moment

    • That’s a hell of an impressive list

  • Hmmm, sadly not many. I've only played two Builds to my knowledge (but planned to play hundreds more. Anyone got a time machine nearby?)

    -The Force Adept

    -The Dark Sovereign

Both back during Ning, man they were fun. I stopped with the Sovereign as I forgot Alchemy, Frenzy Rune and Vampiric Grip (and I wondered why I found the Falmer a pain...) and the Force Adept? I don't know why.

    • Lol you left out everything that actually makes the dark sovereign work.

      • I blame my forgetfulness! One day (or maybe tonight), I'll restart it again!

  • As you likely know from our site’s YouTube channel I’ve played quite a few of other peoples’s builds. It’s quite an exhaustive list so I think what I’ll do is list my top 5 playthroughs in no particular order.

Crystallurgist - Easily the most fun I’ve had playing a       spellsword. The ability to toggle spell absorption on and off is a stroke of genius.

Pale Lady - Frost and fear go together terrifyingly well as proven by this build.

Turncoat - An incredibly fun roleplay experience especially with the Master of Disguise mod.

Nightguard - I love this build’s versatility. More than that I love the backstory behind it.

Ceya-Tar - This build managed to interpret the concepts of shadow magic through vanilla mechanics  in a way that was surprisingly believable

  • To date I have played ...

the night reaver, shadowcaster, Force adept, samurai, maleficar and infiltrator by Curse

the fragomancer and twilight of Meridia by Chris Diokno

    the larcenous knight by albino

the montalion and crystallurgist by John

werelion, pale lady, winds of kynerthi(sp?) sorcerer queen and shadow legion by Elysium

and last but not least the queen of the ax by Lee Fiskilis.

phew! Those are just the ones I can remember. I need a new hobby.

    • What did you think of the Fragomancer and Twilight?

      • I ought to give the Twilight a whirl one day.
