"Aye, I had a crew to call family once. The Sea Scourge Pirates we were called. For ten long years we lived for plunder and wealth, havin'
crewmates
come and go. But for me and Azaan, piracy was in our blood. There was no other way we'd rather be gettin' our coin. He's gone
now, devoured by those accursed lizards, but I still live on. The Sea Scourges live on within me and my crew, upon our new ship. So all ye
merchants, traders and adventurers, if you're travellin' the seas lookin' for adventure, you'd best be prepared. Because we'll be on the waves,
and you can bet your ass we've got a hunger for your gold."

Greetings, sera. Blackblood here with another Character Profile (You must be getting tired of these by now). I've had a bit of interest in pirates, and I did try to pull a pirate character some time ago. It failed miserably though. But now with my return I've actually got a better streak of finishing characters, and thus I want to give this plunderer a try. We'll be sailing the Sea of Ghosts in the Northern Cardinal, among other things worthy of a plunderer. And so, without further ado, lets get to it shall we?

Lygnar was a member of the original Sea Scourge Pirates, a Quartermaster alongside Captain Azaan, a Redguard and professional corsair. The two were close friends, and commanded their ship for 10 long years of piracy in the seas of Tamriel. Azaan often chased tales of some of the greatest pirates, hunting for their gear and treasures. One such hunt lead him towards Skyrim, to find the legend of Haknir Death-Brand. It was one night near their destination when they were beset upon by the infamous Seasnake Pirates, a group of cannabalistic Argonians. The Sea Scourges fought hard, but they were ill-prepared for the silent ambush. As defeat was all but certain, Azaan urged Lygnar to jump ship and escape, telling him with raspy breath that "As long as one of us survives, the Sea Scourges will live on!" He threw him overboard while he himself stalled for Lygnar to swim away. The last thing he saw as he swam to the nearest shore was the death of his friend. After arriving upon the shores of Skyrim, tired, weak and without his gear, he'd swore he'd return to piracy, to sail the seas once more. He would find a new ship, rebuild a new crew, and make those damn lizards pay.

 Notes

  • Whenever he finds idle time, he'll take out a piece of gold, be it a Septim or a Gold Ore or Ingot, and just stare at it.
  • There's a story about his last name. At some point after a fierce battle, him and his crew weighed anchor on a beach shore to look for the treasure of the defeated party. Lygnar's knee got hurt in the fight (not what you're thinking). As he departed the boat he slipped on something on shore (probably some discarded Mudcrab shell) and fell wounded knee-first into the sandy waters. Sea salt, sand and wounded knees don't go very well together, and he howled like a banshee in pain. The whole time they were searching for the treasure he complained about the pain, and they jokingly started referring to him as "Salty-Knee".
