This build was created by the help of Relycs (mainly for the Gameplay and the Ritual). I am proud to present to you Lazareth the Risen. Lazareth is a Necromancer, who is never alone. Even in the midst of battle his Thralls are always near by and willing to protect their Master from grave (see what I did there? No?) dangers on the battlefield. Now onto the build, shall we?

Lazareth the Risen

Lore

Necromancy- Necromancy also known as the Necromantic Arts, Dark Arts or Dark Practice is the manipulation of souls and corpses of the dead. Necromancy has many links to other skills such as, Enchanting, Conjuration and Mysticism. Necromancy was banned by the Psijic Order, who consider it, dangerous and heretical. Later the Mages Guild would also ban this practice.

Masters of Necromancy (e.g Mannimarco) cab reanimate long-dead subjects, while most practitioners require a fresh corpse. Attempting to raise minions without proper knowledge and training can lead to an incomplete binding of the soul, leading to a break in the master-minion relationship and allowing the reanimated corpse to turn upon the Necromancer. One of the driving motivations behind Necromancy is the pursuit of resurrection. Many Necromancers take up the craft because they are desperate to bring back the people they loved. While tales suggest some Necromancers have delved into resurrection with a small measure of success, as they can bind a soul back into the same body which held it in life, achieving "true" resurrection is not within their purview.

Path of Lichdom- Many Necromancers believe that achieving the state of Lichdom is the ultimate goal of Necromancy. Very few Necromancers have succeeded in becoming a Lich. Ascending to Lichdom is an extremely risky endeavour, and it is unique in some ways to each Necromancer who attempts it. There is only one known path which is somewhat well-known but most of the details are well hidden.

To become a Lich, you require a magical relic of great power (but a good-aligned relic that can be perverted to this purpose is ideal) and plentiful amount of living souls. The Necromancer must cast a powerful necromantic spell on his/her subjects, using the magical relic as a casting focus. The spell is designed to steal living sols in an incredibly painful process, this is intentional for the rite to work. An important part in becoming a Lich, is that the Necromancer must transfer their own soul into a Phlactery (a phyiscal object).Should the Phylactery be lost or destroyed during the transference the Necromancer would die immediately and the Ascension would fail.

Mannimarco- Necromancy had started all with one Elf, Mannimacro; King of Worms. He 'controlled' the Order of the Black Worn. The only obstacle he feared was Arkay. Mannimarco was said to be highly intelligent but he had a "dark and cold" heart. He used Necromancy and trapped souls even while summoning. Mannimarco is and was the first Lich. Mannimarco is also known as the King of Worms.

The Build

Race- High Elf (Altmer) or Breton
Stone- Mage -> Atronach and Ritual Stone
Major Skills- Conjuration, Destruction, Alteration, Restoration
Minor Skills- Illusion, Enchanting,
Shouts- Marked For Death, Soul Tear, Drain Vitality, Frost Breath

High Elf is the best choice for Lazareth as, High Elves have a higher skill level in every required skill for this build and they come with 50 extra Magicka. Also don't forget they start off with the Novice Illusion spell Fury. Bretons are another choice because they start off with the Novice Conjuration spell Conjure Familiar and they can once a day absorb Magicka (Dragonskin).

The Shout Marked for Death (MfD) can be used for placing a 'curse' upon your enemies as MfD lowers your enemies maximum health and AR. Do not hit your follower or your Thralls with this Shout as they will get affected by it. The Shout Soul Tear is used for a hands-free soul trap and it will temporarily reanimates your enemies who were hit with the Shout but you require ALL three words for this to work. The Shout Drain Vitality is used for basically making quicker work of your enemies and it is used for the special ability Unending Curse. The Shout Battle Fury is used to enhance your Thralls.

Secret of Arcana is used as a back-up Power that will enable you to cast any spell for 30 seconds, including Dead Thrall, Fire Storm etc. Roots of Power is similar to Secret of Arcana but it reduces the cost of spells by 75% for 60 seconds then it must be reacquired at the Tree Stone. Waters of Life heals anyone near by (it does NOT heal enemies) and then it must be reacquired at the Water Stone.

Skills Overview

Conjuration: This skill is only used for the 'Necromancy' side of things and for pushing the Ritual Stone to its absolute limit to raise an army full of Undead that is being controlled by your Dead Thralls who are in turn being controlled by you. In other words your Dead Thralls are so called 'generals' in your army. This skill is also used for several special abilities including 'The Apocalypse'.

Destruction: This skill is used for slowing down your enemies (and soon to be minions if you want) and for changing the tides of battle in one (or several) blasts. You will be taking up to Expert Destruction and the Augmented Frost perks to maximise the damage and for the special abilities including 'The Apocalypse'.

Alteration: This skill is mainly used for providing some AR, as you will be extremely soft and squishy (I recommended staying away from anything sharp) and the hidden bonuses in Alteration is; Paralyze and Atronach (Perk in Alteration skill tree).

Restoration: This skill is mainly used for healing your Dead Thralls and followers (if any) and can be used to control any types of Undead (via Turn Lesser Undead, even if it is casted on a Draugr Deathlord it will only cause it to, stumble providing those few vital seconds).

Illusion: This skill is mainly used for buffing your Dead Thralls via Rally and/or Call to Arms. It is extremely useful when used with Healing Hands/Other and/or Necromantic Healing/Heal Undead. This skill is particularly useful for, the special ability 'Undeath'.

Enchanting: This skill is used for creating our robes and for creating weapons of mass destruction for our Dead Thralls. Also it is used to create our end game and surprisingly (not) Enchanting is one of the many skills that 'branch' of Necromancy as collecting souls (which are used in Enchanting) is considered Necromancy.

The Necromancer (Level 1-25)

At first glance you may think this is your average Necromancer, but it is far from your average Necromancer. The Necromancer uses the Restoration to control other Undead (Repel Lesser Undead) and Illusion to boost its Thralls and followers. While you are the Necromancer, you won't have much power due to being 'drained' while trying to find Mannimacro. Due to being 'drained' you must only use staves for Conjuration and Destruction. But you may use Novice level spells of Conjuration, at level 5 to give you a feeling that the Necromancer is slowly gaining power (once again).

Once you leave Helgen, get the Mage Stone and go to Anises' Cabin. The Cabin will be your home till you can perform the Ritual. You stay away from most capital Holds expect for Markarth (due to it having many problems) and Winterhold, and you only enter capital Holds cities (e.g Whiterun) when you must sell, buy or go in order for a quest. Fast travel is prohibited as you using Fast Travel, takes away chances of finding quests or potential followers (which you will need for the Ritual).
The following quests you must aim to finish while being the Necromancer are;
-The Whispering Door -The Black Star - Way of The Voice (Main Questline)
-The Taste of Death -College of Winterhold Main Questline -Blood on the Ice -Lost To The Ages

Necromancer Equipment Overview

As you can tell via the Necromancer Equipment Spread below you will be using; an Adept Hood, Adept Robes of Destruction/Conjuration, Thalmor Gloves enchanted with Fortify Magicka, Thalmor Boots with Resist Shock and the Staff of Magnus. You can pick up, an Fortify Destruction and Fortify Magicka enchantments the moment you leave Helgen. The Novice Hood (found in the Torture Rooms in Helgen) can be disenchanted for Fortify Magicka (but hold onto it until you find another Hood with Fortify Magicka).

Once you leave Helgen, follow the dirt path until you meet a cobblestone road. Turn left and follow the road until you come to a sign with directions to Riverwood, Helgen and Falkreath. Take the first left after this sign (travelling southwest) then walk straight ahead until you find a hidden Talos Shrine, with a Thalmor. This is where you can obtain the Thalmor Gloves, Boots and Fortify Destruction enchantment early on (via the Thalmor Robes), and the Thalmor has a random enchanted item as well.

The Lich (Level 25+)

After you complete the Ritual, you will finally become the Lich. You are now able to 'summon' your Thralls as personal body guards as you will have a low AR, even with Ebony Flesh. You are still able to use staves, I recommend you do only when you are outdoors or in a large open area such as a boss room, due to having Vampirism and because Destruction spells have a limited range, compared to staves.

The staves that I recommend you use are; Skull of Corruption, Staff of Magnus and a staff that has been enchanted by YOU. Each staff plays a crucial part to becoming the Lich; the Skull of Corruption gives your Lich a dark, evil vibe, the Staff of Magnus is used for absorbing Magicka and Health, which will be quite helpful against Dragons and other Lichs (Dragon Priests) and your own enchanted Staff, which is optional.
The quests you must aim to finish are;
-Waking Nightmares -The Man Who Cried Wolf -The Wolf Queen Awakened -March of the Dead
-Discerning the Transmundane -Forbidden Legend -Dawnguard Main Questline (Volkihar) -Served Cold

Lich Equipment Overview

The unenchanted Black Robes will be the hardest item to obtain, as there is only one place to get it and it can only been done during a specific quest. To obtain the unenchanted Black Robes, enter Fellglow Keep, and it is on the shelf in the 'library' room, it is the last room before you encounter the Caller. The Thalmor Gloves you can simply take off Ancano, when you defeat him.

The Dunmer Shoes are glitched and allow you to add a chest enchantment upon them instead of a foot enchantment, which can be quite useful. You can find the Dunmer Shoes on Mirri Severin during the quest Served Cold. The rest of the items are easy to obtain via quests. But when you do the quest Waking Nightmares, kill Erandur otherwise the Skull of Corrpution will return to Oblivion and it will be unobtainable.

Ritual- Ascension to Lichdom

Finally, I have found it. After countless months of searching, I have found Mannimacros' Grimoire. Soon I shall be able to perform the Ritual.

To perform the Ritual to Ascend to Lichdom, you must have found; Mannimacros' Grimoire (Malyn Varen's Grimoire), the Bug, Butterfly, Dragonfly, and Moth in a Jar, the Black Star, Ring of Namira (to act as the Sands of Resolve) and the Necromancers Amulet (to act as the Phylactery). You may be asking why use the Necromancers Amulet as the Phylactery.

The Bugs in the Jars are used as Black Soul Gems, and you must find 5 NPCs which are friends/followers, (one each for every jar) and you must kill them in the most painful way possible, doing so slowly prepare you for the Ritual and the summoning of your Thralls.

Once you have obtained the required items, you must go to Summoning Stones and you must acquire Vamprisim (not from Harkon or Serana) and you must have a follower that has a Daedric Sword enchanted with Soul Trap or Fiery Soul Trap (I shall explain why in the Roleplay section) and your Black Star. Once you are at the Summoning Stones, place the Bugs in the Jars around the 'circle' and stand in the centre.

After that you must save your game and provoke your follower so they attack you and kill you. Once you die from your follower, reload the save and now your 'soul' shall be in the Black Star, without it actually showing of course. After that you must equip the Ring of Namira and the Necromancers Amulet. You must never, take off the Amulet for up to 10 days. After the 10 days are up, your body shall be free of its mortal soul and you will have finally become the Lich, that will wreck chaos upon the world.

Guide To Summoning your Draugr Thralls

When you become a Lich, you will need two Draugr Thralls, namely Mikrul and Sigidis Gauldrson. Make sure you have a Staff of Dread Zombies, as raising them with the spell will result them turning to ashes, but with staves, they won't turn to ash. Make sure you have the Twin Souls perk, raise both Mikrul and Sigidis Gauldurson and give them, fully permanent items (Ebony Blade and Zephyr). Once you have done that you now will have your Draugr Thralls and you may give them items to benefit them in battle.

Special Abilities

Lazareth has a range of abilities that can be used in the midst of battle, and they can easily change the tides of battle in one tide. They are;

Ice Age
Taking an enemy/enemies back to the Ice Age, with the Undead/followers right behind them.
Requires: Ice Storm, Augmented Frost 2/2, Draugr Thralls/Follower
While in the midst of battle, cast Ice Storm after Ice Storm, which will effectively take the target/s straight back to the Ice Age. Useful against Bandits, Giants and really anything that charges straight at you. Not effective against Draugr or anything with a Frost resistance.

Undeath
Buffing your Thralls/followers to a point where they are near God-like.
Requires: Healing Hands (if target is a follower) or Heal Undead (if Thrall), Master of the Mind, Courage/Rally.
This special ability is quite useful against Dragons and Dwarven Centurions (espically against Dwarven Centurions as they have 100% resistance to frost). Simply cast Healing Hands/Heal Undead and cast occasionally cast Courage/Rally to buff your follower/Thralls.

Never Ending Curse
Stopping a enemy dead in their tracks, while they fall to the ground, helpless against the coming darkness.
Requires: Marked for Death (all 3 words for best effect), Paralyze (Alteration spell), Ice Storm and Thralls (optional).
First use the Shout Marked for Death, and while your enemy is staggered, cast Paralyze and watch as they fall helpless while you deliver the killing blow, then cast Drain Vitality and recast Paralyze if needed. Best used against powerful enemies such as Giants, Bandit Chiefs, Falmer Gloomlurkers etc.
NOTE: Do NOT hit your Thralls with MfD as the effect is permanent.

The Apocalypse
Through a large, mana pool, the Ritual Stone and plenty dead bodies. Lazareth raises his minions temporarily while having his Thralls as his Generals transporting the target/s into the Apocalypse.
Requires: Draugr Thralls, Ritual Stone, Ice Storm, Augmented Frost 2/2, Call-To-Arms/Battle Fury, Waters of Life (Optional) and Secret of Arcana (Optional).
First use the Ritual Stone and raise your Undead minions, then use Call-To-Arms and/or Battle Fury. While they are approaching the enemy/enemies, constantly cast Ice Storm and use Waters of Life and/or Secret of Arcana if and when require. Best used for boss rooms with lots of dead bodies such as the final battle with the Wolf Queen.
BEWARE there is a chance that; your game may crash due to the Undead and/or it may lag out like crazy or in some cases your Undead minions may turn against because you are not powerful enough.

Roleplay

There are rules, when you are playing as Lazareth. You are a power-hungry Necromancer, and you collect any artefacts of power (e.g. Black Books, Daedric Artefacts). You do not play tag with mortal children. You are superior to everyone you meet. Especially to the Daedric Lords. The reason behind using a Daedric Sword is that you need to make the process of 'removing' your soul as painful as possible to so you can 'go' down the dark path to Lichdom.

Necromancers rarely work together. You must destroy every Necromancer that you find as they can and will become a threat to you. Look what happened to Mannimacro. Even enemies that are extremely powerful (e.g Harkon) are potential threats. Your biggest threats are Wolf Queen Potema, Miraak, Harkon, Dragon Priests of the Dragon Cult (e.g Vokun, Nahrikiin, Volsung etc.) and they must be destroyed.

Well, I guess that's it. This has been a great build and play test (expect for when I crashed into the buggy quest 'Blood on the Ice' quest). But besides that it was awesome. If you have anything you want to ask (etc.) comment below. Thanks for the help everyone (including Relycs) and thanks for reading. Due to no Armor Skill, you end up with about 60 AR (give or take - depends on the Light Armor skill) at End Game. Meaning you cannot afford to get hit - especially on higher levels.

Using your wit - and let’s not forget Death’s Emperor - I recommend placing it on the toughest - if against melee opponents, place it on the opponent with the Two Handed weapon - and starting combat (either sneak attack or Overrun in Sneak Mode - a well known trick that I’ll explain at the end of this section) on the weakest or any other opponent in a group/two or more enemies. I did this to leave the strongest to be taken out in one hit - due to Death’s Emperor which increases your damage by 200% on the holder of the coin (including Critical Attacks) - whereas others may require more of your attention.

If an enemy is alone, you can place Death’s Emperor for Doomed to Plunder, or you can simply initiate a power attack.

However, Mages are not so easily defeated. Similar to the above tactic - I can not stress enough to put Death’s Emperor in the strongest Mage in the group and singling them out. This is due to having no Magic Resistance, meaning that you will take the full brunt of any and all spells. Even if a Mage is alone, I still recommend Death’s Emperor due to no Magic Resistance whatsoever.

NOTE: For those who do not know, you are able to initiate a Critical Charge (perk name in Vanilla, in Ordinator it’s Overrun), after doing a Silent Roll. The result, at the end of the Silent Roll - if done correctly - changes the animation to the Critical Charge while doing the addition damage (see Overrun above). Using this trick in Ordinator with the addition of Dynamic Entry creates a rather powerful first attack that can either instantly kill (either from the hit itself or the ‘secondary’ effect of Overrun) or serious damage the target - provided you hit the target.

I roleplayed the Cutthroat as a thief/pickpocket first, and a tactician second. I also decided to keep the Roleplay rather open to the Player. Before taking on Haldyn, I focused on gathering as much gold as possible (what you decide to do with it is up to you - I chose to take up training to help speed up One Handed as it gets left behind by Pickpocket).

After exacting revenge on Haldyn and the Blood Horkers, what you choose to do is your choice. Do you create a Pirate Crew to loot and pillage Skyrim? Do you decide to become a Privateer for the East Empire Company after taking out Haldyn - the choice is entirely up to you.

As the Cutthroat, both before and after Haldyn, I focused on robbing civilians - both rich and poor - blind of their gold. Not their jewelry or weapons, just their gold. I recommend focusing on pickpocketing only gold for two reasons: as a ex-retired Pirate wouldn’t exactly be able to sell their stolen items - especially one that was supposedly killed (hence not using Speech), another reason being, if an ex-retired Pirate found a merchant willing to buy stolen goods how much would they be both willing and able to pay for said items.

I’d like to thank:

-Chris Dionko, for giving me some ideas for the Cutthroat

-Furrion 17, for the images (found on Pinterest) as well as giving me some more ideas for the Cutthroat

-Curse, for holding the Sky Forge’s first ever Contest as well as the new screenshots, Perk Spread and Equipment Spread.

Don’t forget to hit that ‘like’ button, and drop a comment below if you want.

Character Build: The Nightingale Sentinelhttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/groups/tes-character-building/forum/character-build-the-nightingale-sentinel2019-05-04T02:01:23.000Z2019-05-04T02:01:23.000ZLeehttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/members/LeeFiskilisCarpenter

Hey guys, this is my first ever Build I made for Skyrim back in 2016 (give or take a year or two). The Nightingale Sentinel has nothing to do with Mason's Sentinel builds. I'd like to thank Fevnall for helping me with this build as well as Curse Never Dying for helping edit my backstory. Evergloam is a realm of endless twilight and the so called "cradle of shadow". Evergloam has several 'poclet realms' or connecting realms, including the Shade Perilous and the Crow's Wood. The most known (and possibly only) way to Evergloam is the portal Ebonmere, which acts as Nocturnal's conduit on Tamriel. The Sentinel uses its Nordic Carved Bow enchanted with Frost and Shock Damage with Bound Spectral Arrows (basically Daedric Arrows for free), to destroy everything and anything standing in its way of reaching Evergloam. It has to abilitiy to either, freeze it's enemy solid or send it's enemies running in fear, and it can send anything that is in it's path flying away with just an arrow. (See special moves section for more details).

The Sentinel uses Enchanting to enable it to reach higher levels in Restoration and Destruction which can increase its damage and enchantment strength. Using the perk Necromage, Vampirism, required perks in the Enchanting skill tree and Seekers of Sorcery, your Fortify Destruction with Magicka Regen enchantments goes to 43% cost reduction and 10% Magicka Regen. By getting Novice Destruction, Augmented Frost 2/2, Augmented Shock 2/2 with Seekers of Sorcery your Nordic Carved Bow can reach up to 63 damage per element which equals up to 126 damage JUST IN ENCHANTMENTS.
The Nightingale Sentinel uses self-enchanted armour and weapons. To create the armour and weapons of the Sentinel you require: Seekers of Sorcery, Necromage, Vampirism. The armour and weapons that the Sentinel uses is a Morag Tong chestpiece, Morang Tong Boots, Morag Tong Bracers, Aetherial Crown, Ancient Shrouded Cowl and a Nordic Carved Bow. I won't explain how to get the armour and the Crown, because I may spoil it.
Glover Mallory should start selling Nordic Carved Bows at roughly level 21. Once you have the Sentinel's arnour and weapons, you may enchant them. Preferably don't enchant the gear until you have the perks in Enchanting with Necromage, Seekers of Sorcery and Vampirism. I shall explain in the Roleplay section when to get the needed enchantments.

The Priest
(Level 1-25)

When walking into towns or villages, always wear your Hooded Monk Robes, and do not reveal your name to anyone (if possible). You may help people if you wish. Only enter towns/villages at night or roughly around dusk. Start the quest 'Lost to the Ages' and finish it as soon as possible as entering Dwemer Ruins are near impossible to survive with this character at higher levels. Also attempt to gain as much money as possible and train your Destruction and Restoration skill.

You can obtain the Muffle spell tome from Farengar as soon as you enter Dragonsreach. Using the Muffle spell will help level your Illusion skill and make you near silent to certain enemies. Armour-wise, try to use some form of 'dark' looking Light Armour such as the Vampire Light Armour (Black Variant). Also obtaining a follower will help if you get swarmed by enemies (which will happen).

Join the Dark Brotherhood ASAP, as it will help level most of your skills. Also joining the Thieves Guild will help level your Sneak and Illusion. You will have constantly buy arrows from any merchant. The cheapest and most 'strongest' arrow is the Iron Arrow, which you can craft if you have the Hearthfire DLC. Do not enter Solsthiem or start the Dragonborn Questline. When you hit level 10, join the Dawnguard and 'switch' to the Volkihar Clan. Doing so will give you, Vampirism and the ability to become a Vampire Lord, which can be used as a backup plan. Attempt to get to the quest 'Trinity Restored' in the Thieves Guild questline before hiting level 25. You should have the Aetherial Crown and be up to the quest 'Trinity Restored'.

The Nightingale Sentinel
(Level 25+)

Now time to fully release the builds potential. You should aim to obtain the following after level 25+; Morag Tong Armour, Nordic Carved Bow, Bone Hawk Amulet, Bone Hawk Ring and Ahzidals' full 'set' of armour. One thing I have found out is that Necromage is a giant game changer.
Get the Apprentice Stone and equip the Atronach Stone in the Aetherial Crown. Applying the Atronach Stone in the Aetherial Stone with Necromage makes the Stone 25% more powerful. Just a warning though, using the Apprentice Stone you will be extremely fragile when fighting certain enemies such as Dragons but the Atronach Stone can (at random times I believe) make you near invincible during certain times in battle. Making an enemies strongest spell do nothing to you.
Start most battles (some you can not due to Dragons) in the shadows, fire off a Fury spell but be careful. I found out the hard way that Rout (stronger version of Fury) has a 'splash' damage, hitting most enemies and potentially NPCs or your follower. Finish the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild main questline as it will help bring in alot of gold that can be easily transferred to training for Restoration and Destruction.

The image may be blurry. When I say 'store' in the first three tricks, I mean while having an arrow fully 'drawn', shout but do not lower your bow.

Freezing Shot: Requires Frost Breath (with the Dragonborn Frost if possible)/Ice Form with any arrow.
'Draw' an arrow and while aiming 'store' either Frost Breath or Ice Form (tap for one word and hold for all three words) then release And watch as your targets are either frozen solid (Frost Breath with Dragonborn Frost or Ice Form) and/or watch your enemies slow down to a near halt.

Trembling Fear: Requires Disarm/Dismay with any arrow.
Best used when heavy surrounded in a narrow hallway. 'Draw' an arrow and while aiming 'store' either Disarm or Dismay (tap for one word of hold for all three words) then release your arrow and watch as your enemies either run in terror or they drop their weapon in fear. May work on Draugr Deathlords.

Power Shot: Requires Unrelenting Force with any arrow.
Best used with all three words, to give that 'oomph' and for better results. 'Draw an arrow and while aiming 'store' Unrelenting Force (tap for one word or hold for all three words) then release your arrow and watch as your enemies fly away.

Double Shot: Requires two arrows and Slow Time or Steady Hand
The Double Shot power is achieved by releasing an arrow and then pressing Attack-Sheathe-Attack in rapid succession. The first arrow will go to where ever you are pointing but the second arrow's positioning is relative to your hand positions hen the combo is achieved and has a bane's axis to determine it. To counter this with a small slow time or the perk Steady Hand can keep those hands where you want them to hit.

Archer Sneak Roll: Requires the ability to sprint, 'draw' and sheathe.
This does not require the perk Silent Roll. To achieve an Archer Sneak Roll, you need to hold the sprint button and then while sprinting, draw an arrow and then sheathe it. Doing this will break animation allowing you to roll and can be repeated in quick succession. With practice this method is faster then the traditional Silent Roll perk. This special move works well with Muffle and Invisibility.

Instant Arrows: Requires Bound Bow, Secret of Arcana and any bow of your choice
Now a word from our sponsors *catchy tune* 'Hello, good sir, are you a discerning archer who says f*ck it they will be porcupines? Do you often find yourself running out of arrows? Well, not anymore my fine fellow, for we have a cure. By learning the rudimentary Conjuration and beating Herma-Mora's a** for some so called 'forbidden knowledge' you can start conjuring arrows today' *catchy tune/ad ends* Yes indeed, you can conjure arrows by single casting the bound bow in BOTH HANDS, and releasing them at the same time which will grant you 200 bound Daedric arrows at ANY level. Now this is very temperamental and that's why we recommend getting the Secret of Arcana power to do this glitch/power.

Other Information

Race: Breton
Standing Stone: Thief Stone -> Apprentice Stone with the Atronach Stone (using the Aetherial Crown)
Stats: 2-2-1, Magicka, Health, Stamina.
Shouts: Unrelenting Force, Frost Breath with Dragonborn Frost, Slow Time, Disarm, Dismay, Become Etheral
Major skills: Archery, Illusion, Sneak
Minor skills: Light Armour, Enchanting, Restoration, Destruction

Archery: This is the only way that the Sentinel can attack and it enables the Sentinel to launch devasting attacks while either remaining in the shadows or standing in front of its enemies. Welcome to my second submission to the Crossworlds Event for 2019. After several (I had another two more ideas ready for Crossworlds), not work out, I decided to have one last shot. Onto the Build shall we?

Ordinator: This mod is essential to the Build, as it opens up hundreds of different playstyles and truly allows this Build to shine.
Andromeda Standing Stones: Optional, but the Ritual Stone was too good to pass up for the Build.
Summermyst: Opens the door to many new enchantments. Not essential but some of them work really well, from both a Gameplay and Roleplay perspective
Alternate Start - Live Another Life: Completely optional. For the sake of it, I mainly chose this mod for the 'Escape from my Cell' option.

Race: Female Breton Vampire. Breton works perfectly especially with Dragonskin and their innate Magic Resistance, but Nord is a worthy substitute, for their Frost Resistance and Battlecry.

Stone: Ritual. With the Ritual Stone in combination with Andromeda, it allows use to 'raise' killed NPCs and creatures, and raises them automatically at the start of combat. If you don't have Andromeda, the Ritual still fits the bill for the Greater Power of raising all nearby corpses to fight for you.

Stats: 150/230/150

I decided to create this Build around debuffs (not from Alchemy or spells (e.g Destruction spells), but instead focus on the synergy of Conjuration and Alteration in Ordinator, along with Illusion, in the form of reducing enemy Magic resistance, reducing their attack damage while at the same time boosting my AR and attack damage via non conventional means (Dark Whispers and Spellblade).

I chose not to follow start the Main Quest even for the sake of Dragons and the Dragonborn DLC. However, if you plan to, I highly suggest it for Drain Vitality, which drains enemy Stamina, Magicka and Health (if using all three words), creating more synergy with Bound Weapons.

I also chose not to add an Equipment Spread/Equipment Section, this is the case as I've decided to let you, choose what enchantments and armor you want to wear. You have no Armor skill so you aren't restricted. The choice is yours!

(For those wondering, I chose Krosis, Dawnguard Armor (brown variant), Dawnguard Boots and Gauntlets, with enchantments from both Summermyst and Skyrim).

Conjuration: The Witch is more than capable of summoning fearsome Daedra and Daedric weapons from Oblivion.
Perks of note:
-Void Burn: Bound weapons burn victims with unholy energy for 5 seconds, halting Magicka and Stamina regen while draining 15 points per second. When both are depleted, the energy starts devouring their Health, dealing 15 points of magic damage per second.
-Hollow Binding: Bound weapons cut through flesh and spirit, reducing magic resistance by 30% for 5 seconds
-Dark Whispers: Bound weapons induce a battle rage in their wielder, granting 20% extra attack damage and 100 points of armor rating for 5 seconds when a target is struck.
-Covenant of Coldharbour: Hollow Binding reduces magic resistance by an additional 30% if you control a summoned Daedra or other non-unded minion.

Illusion: All that cross paths with the Witch either run in fear and/or find themselves weakening. As well as having the ability to manipulate the minds of Her enemies, the Witch has more than one reason to be feared.
Perks of note:
-Wilting: Those affected by a Calm Spell or effect within the radius of Imposing Presence lose 200 points of armor and 50% magic resistance
-Soul Crusher: Feast upon those affected by a Fear spell or effect within the radius of Imposing Presence, absorbing 25 points of Magicka per second.

Alteration: Those that encounter the Witch find themselves unable to focus and find themselves tiring.
Perks of note:
-The Monarch: You cannot regenerate Magicka and lose 10 points of Magicka per second but absorb 25 points of Magicka per second from living creatures within 20 feet whether friend or foe.
-Nullifier: You radiate a dampening field, preventing enemies within 25 feet from regenerating Magicka and Stamina
-Rend Resistances: Whenever you attack with a weapon, reduces the magic resistance of nearby enemies within 10 feet by 15% for 4 seconds
Note for Perks:
-Alter Self: Attribute (Health)
-Alter Self: Resistances (Fire and Frost)

Enchanting: With each adversary the Witch encounters, She finds herself becoming stronger and stronger.
Perks of note:
-Regalia: New enchantments placed upon robes, circlets, hoods and necklaces are 30% stronger
-Attunement: All enchantments on equipped weapons and armor are 10% more powerful and last 10% longer

One Handed: Those that are unlucky enough not to run in fear, find their very attacks becoming weaker with each of the Witchs' blows.
-Clash of Champions: Attacks with swords reduce the target's attack damage by 10% for 3 seconds

Melee enemies: There is nothing more pleasing then standing toe to toe with a Bandit Chief, and watch him struggle against you. Use power attacks where you deem necessary. If things get too tough, I recommend using Calm or even Fear on said melee weapons.

Mages: Ah, mages. Normally a massive pain in my side, but not with this Build. I suggest throwing a Fear Spell (if you have Soul Crusher), or even using Drain Vitality, to begin wearing them down. Up close and personal, there isn't too much difference to melee enemies, except for the fact that Mages won't be able to cast ANY spells including Fast Healing.

Archers: Not really too much of a bother. Simply the same as melee enemies. Get up close and personal, and whack. Rinse and repeat.

Something worth noting, is try and have a Flame Atronach summoned, in the odd case that you do need backup, that and with Intutive Magic, you can use Fast Healing if need be (I never did). I treated the Witch With No Face, having a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Jekyll being Her usual, silent yet non threatening side. But Her Hyde side, being the more deadly and fearsome side. As I played, I imagined slowly the Hyde side of Her, becoming in full control, with the Jekyll side of Her, disappearing. I imagined the Jekyll side of Her to be Chaotic Neutral but the ever growing Hyde side of Her to be Chaotic Evil.

I roleplayed that the more I used Conjuration, the more and more the Witch became corrupted and lost to Hyde.

For Quests, I did, I'll admit I did only one, but I acted like a wandering warrior. Keeping away from large towns. The Quests I did are:

Laid to Rest: I roleplayed this as the Witch knowing that if she doesn't act soon, Morthal will fall (I done this early, when the Jekyll side of Her was still 'in control')

Dawnguard (Volkihar): I envisioned entering the Soul Cairn to be when She loses the last scrap of her humanity to Hyde, the point of no return.

There are several other quests that could work well with the Witch. Some of them are: The Man Who Cried Wolf/Wolf Queen Awakened, Dragonborn, Main Quest.

For those who are curious about what about the Witch, be sure to check out the RP Profile here.

For those who haven't noticed. The character I recreated in Skyrim was none other then Clariel (Jekyll)/Chorrl of the Mask (Hyde), found in the Abhorsen Series. I chose to focus on Chorll, as in my opinion, she is one hell of a character, a Berserker (Dark Whispers and One Handed perks), an Abhorsen In Training (if memory serves me right) and one hell of a character to kill off (she basically 'possessed bodies' each time the former one was destroyed/time and caught up with it) AND last but certainly not least; a Greater Dead.

(It took 4 books for Chorrl to be killed for good. Lirael, literally had to take Chorrl to the Ninth Gate to defeat her. She was only able to defeat Chorrl with Clariel (her Jekyll side)).

Chorrl came by several names, some of with are: Chorrl of the Mask, The Golden Mask and The Witch With No Face.

For those curious, I highly recommend reading the Abhorsen Series. Another reason why I chose her, was that she wasn't some bad guy. She defeated/survived several Abhorsen, was a Berserker (which is fairly rare in it's own right) AND was able to raise/control both Free Magic Creatures and the other Lesser Dead.

For those wondering here's a glossary/translation of what I just said.
-Abhorsen: Basically the witchunter. Only one is alive each time

-Abhorsen In Training: A witchunter in training by the Abhorsen. Should the Abhorsen die, the Abhorsen In Training, takes their place. (NOTE: An Abhorsen can not die (will return from Death), without an Abhorsen In Training)

-Beserker: A 'race'/'blood' that gives them great power and strength. In a sense, berserkers in Viking mythology

-Greater Dead: There's Lesser Dead, and Greater Dead. Greater Dead are nothing to laugh at and are extremely hard to kill

-Free Magic Creatures: Without going into the lore of the Abhorsen Series. There's Charter Magic and Free Magic. Charter is the entire world, Free Magic is the 'left overs'. Free Magic Creatures are extremely deadly and can not be banished like Dead, meaning that you can only 'capture' them.

-Ninth Gate: Basically, I can't explain it all in one sentence. But the Ninth Gate is the Final Gate in Death, where all Dead (both Lesser and Greater), eventually end up. Once someone looks upon the stars, in the Ninth Gate. There is no coming back.

Does the Walker choose the Path or the Path the Walker?

Whoa. That was a LOT. Man, it was worth it though. I want to thank:

-Pixel, for once again holding Crossworlds and helping me decide the Armor combo

-Chris D, for helping me flesh out and expand on Chorrl, as well as giving me information on Her.

-Blackblood, for having the Screenshots Thread in the Roleplay Group, which kept me going especially when I thought I wouldn't finish in time

-Everyone else, who gave me ideas and general pointers (at times without even realising it) for the Witch.

-And YOU for reading this

Don't forget to hit that 'Like' Button and tell me your thoughts below! We wanted to do something different, something that rarely has been done combined with some fun combat situations which always end with a bang. We are proud to present…

Farewell to Greta

I never chose to live a life of crime, I was born into it. My pa was a crook, and after he died in jail, I, a poor boy from Riften, joined up with one of the local gangs, lead by a burly man by the name of Greta. In Riften, its easier to make your way in life by hook and crook. The whole damn city’s like this. Even the honest merchants gouge prices now and again.

But even still, as me and my boys lived on the run, I never forgot my roots. Never harm an unarmed maid, man, or child that don’t deserve it, and always give to the beggars. Poor bastards deserve at least a coin or two.

Then this damned Civil War started up. Things used to be simpler, just break into a house, rob some goods, then book it. While I was resting near Darkshade Pass, I came upon Ulfric Stormcloak and a band of his cronies passing by. I thought, “Molag’s Bals, if I kill or capture him, maybe the Jarls will pardon me.”

That’s how I got beaten by Imperials, bound, and loaded into a cart. Damn you Ulfric Stormcloak….

The Build

Race: Nord, I personally find Nord the best suiting for this build mainly for roleplay reasons, and Battlecry is always useful. Another race that works real well is Imperial.

Stone: Thief or Warrior for leveling, but switch to either the Atronach or the Lord, depending on your playstyle.

Stats: 1/2/1, depending on your playstyle, stop where it feels right. I stopped at 200 Magicka, and 200 Stamina, dropping everything else into Health.

Skills

Primary Skills: Heavy perked and used. Basically are the bread and butter of the build.

Heavy Armor: Really helps create a nice aesthetically of a bandit fighting guerilla style, while fairly boosting our AR (which we will be lacking).

Archery: Nothing like firing off Bolts, that literally explode upon impact. Purely for damage output and a few surprises that drastically change the game (Power Shot and Quick Shot).

Destruction: What goes *BOOM*, better the Runes and Exploding Bolts! They're basically landmines, perfect for a guerilla fighting style Bandit.

Secondary Skills: Frequently used, and perked but not as much as the Primary Skills.

Sneak: Doesn't hurt to have a slight edge and see exactly who and what you're up against. Also helps plan your Runes.

Smithing: Perfect for further boosting our lackluster AR while allowing us to create Exploding Bolts in LARGE masses.

Teritary Skills: Mainly for roleplay, purely optional.

Speech: You would think a Bandit, can smooth talk your everyday guard and get better prices, no?

Lockpicking: Nothing like cracking open a chest and being showered in gold and treasures

Combat

There is a fair bit of fun during combat, as who doesn't enjoy things exploding? And the last thing your enemy is really going to expect is a bolt flying towards them, only to blow up in their face, or only to sit down and blow their pants/legs off. Literally. I found myself always switching depending on what I was up against, but it's fairly simple.

Archers, I found myself either taking them out straight away or disregarding them (they can both be small flies or a massive thorn in your side), don't bother wasting a Rune or an Exploding Bolt if you can. Not really worth it, in the end.

Up against Warriors or anything melee orientated. I say use Frost Runes, combined with Exploding Ice Bolts, really helps slow them down (until they change animations), AND it will chew through your targets Stamina, like a fat kid like candy, or a thief turned millionaire. Regardless if they are Nords/have a resistance to Frost (unless they're Undead or have a 100% resistance)

Mages. Best fun I have had in ages! Nothing like firing off bolts that stagger them every 2-3 shots. Chuck in some Shock Runes and Exploding Shock Bolts to really ruin their day.

Best thing about the Combat? I found myself literally keeping my ground after I was found and staggering my enemies with said Bolts every 2-3 shots really at times made things too easy. At times.

Ah, waiting for a client is always so tedious

Level 1-25

Early on things are going to be fairly difficult. Not being able to use/obtain said Crossbow till at least Level 10, not being able to use more than one Rune at a time and no Exploding Bolts, which is quite sad. I simply found myself selling/stealing as much gold as possible only to throw it towards training Destruction, to at least level 25, for that precious Apprentice Destruction which really makes the difference from not casting a single Rune, to only casting one Rune per battle. Not much but hey, it's an improvement.

Outside of using Runes/Destruction and being stuck with a Bow (I was stuck with a Imperial/Hunting Bow till about Level 10, not the best start). Enemies getting to close/overwhelming you? I simply recommend either bashing (which is fairly effective even late game) or picking your fights.

For that reason, I stayed far away from anything that remotely had several Mages.

Equipment

I really found Steel Armor to be both fitting for a (guerilla fighting style) Bandit AND it is really overlooked, (hell it's even better looking than Daedric Armor in my opinion). That and you can pretty much get it from Level 1 or craft it just as soon. A Dawnguard Full Helmet and Steel Plate Gauntlets/Boots really ties the aesthetics all together in my opinion, that and combined with an Enhanced Crossbow, where can you go wrong?

Level 25-45

Now this is where the fun begins. Hopefully you've completed the recommended Quests details in the next section (as the sooner the better, even focusing completely on them). Finally having the chance to finally use a Crossbow and normal Bolts. Then later (or sooner), unlocking its true potential, EXPLOSIVE BOLTS!

I keep talking about Explosive Bolts, and I have good reason to. It's something that I personally rarely have seen in a Build, that and come on. If you at least don't enjoy the odd/occasional explosion, something's up. That and combined with Runes (which from what I've found out, Exploding Bolts do NOT set off Runes), it is quite fun, it creates synergy or at least I believe it does.

Roleplay and Questing

Both myself and Chris had acted more so like your common Bandit. Mainly after jewels, gold and hitting it rich. But we both acted as if our character had a moral compass. I personally destroyed the Dark Brotherhood and refused to work with Maven Black Briar (between being accepted in the Thieves Guild and at the start of the Golden Glow Estate quest). As there are somethings that even some Bandits wouldn't do, regardless of how much gold is on the line.

Like I said I found myself destroying the Dark Brotherhood, as yes the gold is nice. But killing innocents in cold blood for some meager coin? Not only does it take the fun out of it, but it also didn't sit right with my character, along with the Thieves Guild. I found every way possible from stealing Frost to damaging Black Briar Meadery, anyway possible (sadly there is only the chance of stealing a keg/crate and taking it to Ivarstead).

Chris here, and I basically followed through with what Lee did. I played my character as, in following with the Robin Hood theme, loyal to the Emperor, but not exactly the Empire’s laws, so he’ll proudly wear an Amulet of Talos. Alongside this, I also handed a coin or two to the various beggars, even pickpocketing the occasional Septim or two onto their personage. Basically, thief wise, this character is a bit more in line with the Oblivion Thieves Guild variant.

We both believed our build was essentially an Aussie Outback Robin Hood. Fighting for what was right... on the occasion there was coin, it made it so much better.

Other quests that I haven't mentioned are:

Stones of Bazareniah: Really makes finding gems for Fire/Frost/Void Salts all that much easier, that and whatever I didn't use, I sold. I highly recommend completing ASAP (I finished it about Level 20-25ish) Tip, if you rapdily tap the pick up button, then theres a chance you can get more than one Stone per grab. Easier that trying to find each and every single Stone, no?

Ancient Technology: Unless you have mods that circumvent doing this quest, then good on you! If not, well, aye, you've got to do it. Feel free to stop after you get either the Enhanced Crossbow and relevant Bolts or the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow and relevant Bolts.

College of Winterhold: Opens up the Atronach Forge (I roleplayed following the handbook on the table and only willing to test/change the recipe for Salts)

Man Who Cried Wolf/Wolf Queen Awakened: I purely done this for the Stone, BUT I imagined the main reason (besides Potema coming back to life), Falk Firebeard wants to keep it quiet is a Bandit of all people defeating an ancient evil!

Civil War (Stormcloaks, Optional): I roleplayed Ulfric becoming desperate enough to allow a well known Bandit to enlist into his army and help win the Civil War.

Chris here: I personally sided, optionally of course, with the Imperials. One, it allows the Empire as a whole a better chance of reforming, Two, the pay is probably better, and Three, if the Imperials win, then this character might be pardoned, and he can go back to his thieving ways.

Besides that, I found myself exploring. Hunting for treasure, hoarding my gold, gems and selling any (useless) artifacts that a common Bandit would throw away (such as a Staff of Chain Lightning).

Credits

Well, that was quite a lot of 'booming' experience, don't you say? I want to thank Chris Diokno, for doing a collab with me for Crossworlds and Pixel for hosting the Crossworlds Event for 2019. It's been the best fun, I've had for years. Oh and thank you for reading. If you've got any questions or comments, knock yourself out below (not literally), and don't forget to hit that 'like' button!

Event Build: Saint Alessiahttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/groups/tes-character-building/forum/event-build-saint-alessia2018-12-25T11:02:30.000Z2018-12-25T11:02:30.000ZLeehttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/members/LeeFiskilisCarpenter

Hey guys, I want to start off saying, Merry Xmas and happy holidays! Welcome to my build for the Secret Santa Event (2018). This time, I was assigned, Ayslephs' idea which was 'Saint Alessia. Without further delays, I am happy to present my Build:

The Build

Race: Imperial Female
Stone: Mage -> Lord -> Lord and Apprentice
Stats: 1/2/1
Skills: One Handed, Restoration, Speech, Light Armor, Alteration.
Quests: The Book of Love, The Heart of Dibella, Dawnguard

Skills

One Handed: This skill is purely for improving the (horrible) damage output of the Silver Sword (Early Game) and then the Honed Ancient Nord Sword (End Game).

Restoration: This skill fits in perfectly Roleplay wise and Gameplay wise, as the spells and perks in the Restoration skill tree, translate beautifully in combat. I found myself using every Spell in Restoration (for a change). No Restoration Spell is useless to Saint Alessia.

Speech: This skill fits in quite well Roleplay wise, as it allows us to slowly but surely repair Skyrim herself, from the inside, while the Thalmor are busying watching the Civil War.

Light Armor: This skill fits in quite well purely for aesthetic reasons and I imagine that the Dawnguard Armor (Light Armor Variant), was roughly/pretty close to the same type of armour, that Alessia and her 'army' used against the Aylieds.

Alteration: This skill is purely for boosting our defence (which is quite needed, especially if you go without a follower) as well as improving our Magic Resistance (and lowering the Damage done by enemy spells.

Equipment

As I had mentioned in the Skills Section, I found the Dawnguard Armour, to look and work quite well, especially when combined with the Aetherial Crown and the Honed Ancient Nord Sword (I used a Silver Sword early one, as it has an enchantment which does 20 extra damage to Undead). The Amulet of Akatosh, is also used to further boost our Magicka Regeneration.

Gameplay

I found the Gameplay of this build to be quite simple really. Due to our low AR and near to nothing of Crowd Control (especially if you don't have Poison Rune) against Living Creatures. I found one particular thing useful during my entire Playthrough. Stagger/Power Attacks.

It is really quite simple. Every enemy, that I have ever encountered is capable of being staggered. Every enemy, you come across, can simply be dealt with, hitting, power attacking and Healing (for the Health regain and Stamina once you get Respite). For the types of enemies, where it isn't so simple, I shall mention them below.

Mages/Dragons, are going to be both interesting to fight against, and a complete pain in the butt. I highly recommend using Wards spells to get up close and personal, then simply power attack them (doing so will drop your Ward and stagger them), then let it loose.

Undead are going to be fairly easy, depending on the numbers. I simply recommend, going all out with Turn Undead Spells and Stagger (Power Attacks and Turn Lesser Undead, which staggers ALL Undead, regardless of the Level).

Oh and in battles against large number of Undead, don't hesitate to cast Circle of Protection!

Roleplay

Throughout my entire playthrough, I imagined, Saint Alessia entering Skyrim in hopes of reuniting the Stormcloaks with the Empire, which she built. However, to make things interesting, I chose not to enter the Civil War. As I imagined, doing so would grab the Thalmors' attention and make them realise that Saint Alessia (the one who created the Empire itself), that and the politics in Skyrim during (and after) the Civil War is quite... Messy to say the least.

But what I did do, was keep under the political radar (no becoming Thane (except for Whiterun (couldn't avoid it), help out the people of Skyrim - those who are left to deal with their loved ones going to war.

Live soberly and peacefully.
Honor your parents, and preserve the peace and security of home and family.

Credits

I want to thank;
-Pixel, for once again, creating an amazing Event.
-Aysleph, for thinking and adding the idea to the Event

Oh, for those of you wondering, the usage of the Turn Undead, Sun Spells and the Silver Sword, is a little Easter Egg that I created. As back in Oblivion, in the Aylied Ruins, they are generally infested with Skeletons, Zombies, Ghosts and Wraiths (both of which can be killed with either a Silver/Daedric weapon, Spells or an enchanted weapon).

Event Build: The Skin Walkerhttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/groups/tes-character-building/forum/event-build-the-skin-walker2018-10-16T02:40:24.000Z2018-10-16T02:40:24.000ZLeehttps://TheSkyForge.ning.com/members/LeeFiskilisCarpenter

Hey guys! When I heard about the Halloween Mini Build Event, I wanted to join and create my own character, however, I was (and still am) confused about Halloween as I've never celebrated. Hell, thinking of a build that is both unique and worthy of being in an Event was even harder, until I was told about Skin Walkers

DISCLAIMER: Skin Walkers in the Elder Scrolls Universe
(To my knowledge there is nothing similar to Skin Walkers in the ES Universe, so I will be creating 'false' lore for the sake of the build. Those who are interested in reading about Skin Walkers can, find some infomation at the end of the Build).

The Skin Walker

Few have seen of a Skin Walker, and even fewer have survived the battle/ordeal, as most are left dead with their hearts eaten, or missing. Never to be found again.

All that is known about these Skin Walkers is that they have the ability to shapeshift into another animal or person. A werewolf-like appearance being the most common. There are rumours that these 'Skin Walkers' are either creation of Hircine and Namiira.

Only rumours are known about Skin Walkers, however, in those rumours are grains of truth. And from what I've learnt about those few grains of truth is that these Skin Walkers could be living amongst us, without us even knowing...

-Myths, Legends and Rumours, Unknown.

The Build

Race: Nord Werewolf
Stats: 1/2/1
Stone: Mage -> Lord/Lady
Main/Major Quests: The Silver Hand, Ill met by the Moonlight (DON'T complete), Totems of Hircine.

I've never really played as a Nord often at all, as I thought of them as essentially just brutes, barbarians that bring nothing to the table, but hell was I wrong. I highly recommend playing as a Nord as you get a 50% Resist Frost (most enemies that I encountered used Frost) and if everything turns pear shaped, Battle Cry can be used as a last resort. Essentially a Level 99 Fear Shout.

Skill Overview

Conjuration: I mainly used Conjuration purely as additional support when I was in battle, with both Summons and the Bound Sword, which meant, I never had to worry about carrying a weapon or being disarmed. If you want, Necromancy is a perfectly good subsititue compared to Atromancy.

Illusion: I had decided to use Illusion for something I've never done with it for a while. Using it for Fear. It really suits the Build itself, when combined with Turn Undead and Howl of Terror, as whats more frightening that a Skin Walker?

Light Armor: I found this skill quite useful for survivalability and Roleplay. As nothing, that I know of suits a Skin Walker more better than a set of Forsworn Armor, and hell, Forsworn Armor isn't very strong, hence the amount of perks.

Lycanthropy: Lycanthropy was the skill that brought this entire build together. Combined with the Cursed Ring of Hircine, I can nearly guarantee that every playthrough will be different, along with the Totem/Howl of Terror, even in Werewolf form, you have no need to worry about being overwhelmed.

One Handed: This skill was quite useful and fun. As nothing has been as more pleasing then using Critical Charge against a target that has been hit by Fear/Rout. Hell, even Savage Strike made it give my enemies even more reason to fear the Skin Walker.

Restoration: This skill was mainly used for Healing (obviously) with the occasional Turn Undead and Turn Lesser Undead (staggers all Draugr regardless of Level, unlike Turn Undead). Hell, even Wards were helpful against Necromancers, blocking their annoying Frost Spells.

Arms and Armour

As I stated before, I found the Forsworn Armor set to really suit a Skin Walker, especially with the edition of Human skulls on the 'belt' of the Forsworn Armor. In my opinion the Cursed Ring of Hircine really lets this Build shine, as it has a 10% chance to turn the Character into a Werewolf (every hour in-game time), allowing for some very interesting battles and decimations.

As you probably noticed I haven't included any Necklaces in the Equipment Spread above, as I personally never really used any sort of jewellery besides the Cursed Ring. If you want, the Helmet of the Old Gods, can be swapped with the Forsworn Headdress.

Combat

Throughout my entire playthrough, I never really had much problem as combat is fairly simple, for this Build. I can not stress enough the usage of Turn/Repel Lesser Undead along with Fear/Rout.

Against the Undead, (which was commonly Draugr), I found myself using Turn Lesser Undead (for the Stagger effect) in a 1v1 battle, whereas Repel Lesser Undead was useful against groups where both my Atronach and myself had the odds against us.

Against Living enemies (Bandits, Forsworn etc), I found myself using Rout/Fear regardless of the amount of enemies. If the odds were stacked against myself, I would find myself focusing primarily on the strongest enemy (sometimes wasn't affect by Rout).

Against Mages, I found Frost Atronachs (against Necromancers) and Storm Atronachs (against any other Mages), to be extremely effective. However, I always approached with my Ward raised, just in case they switched targets onto myself.

One thing that I can say is besides any Fear effects, is never underestimate the power of Summons.

Roleplay

Roleplaying as a Skin Walker is fairly broad and easy, depending on how far you want to go. I personally found myself acting like a Shaman, only to be replaced/corrupted by a Skin Walker around Level 25 (when I became a Werewolf and obtain the CRoH).

With every transformation, I imagined my character slowly becoming more dangerous and willing to attack anything and everything regards of who they were. In a sense a Chaotic Evil (I think that would best describe it) character, by Level 40.

Native American Mythology: Skin Walkers

Skin Walkers are apart of the Native American mythology, also known as a "yee naaldlooshi" (Navajo for "by means of it, he/she/it walks around on four legs), and is usually a person with supernatural ability to shapeshift into either another animal or another human being.

They are very similar to Werewolves and other paranormal shape shifters, with a few key differences though. Most Skin Walkers abilities are largely powered by dark rituals or the breaking of native taboos. Each Native American tribe's version differs in the details of Skin Walkers. Most Skin Walkers are differentiatedd from their brethern by being able to take multiple shapes, but are not free-form shapeshifters.

The myths that usually describe them as humans who wear only an animal skin, or an abomination of human and animal forms. In the mythology, they have a few extra abilitys such as Telepathy, Voice Changeling (mimicking human and animal sounds) to name a few.

Skin Walkers are considered to be one of the most fearsome monsters in Native American Mythology

Closing Notes

I would like to thank;
-Chris Diokno for raising my curiosity about the Event and telling me about TV Tropes (where I found the Skin Walker).
-Pixel, for holding the Halloween Mini Build Event. This time, I had focused upon the Dunmer. I found the Dunmer quite interesting in the way, they deal with their dead - instead of burying them like most races, they burn them to ashes.
Instead of creating the uncommon 'stealth mage', I decided to go a different route, using Disintegrate, combined with Shock Spells, all the while slightly showing the potential of Spider Scrolls. Onto the build!

The Rune Master

Throughout Skyrim, there are countless Nordic Ruins, mounds and graves filled with the corpses. Corpses that are and should stay asleep. As imagine the chaos, that would be caused if one even one Dragon Priest returned.

I have heard many rumours, of the Dead, more commonly known as Draugr, awakening again in Skyrim. I fear that the Dragon Priests of old are awakening kept from the clutches of Death, by absorbing what little Life the Draugr have. The Dragon Priests must and will be stopped. They shall meet me, a Priest of Arkay, awaiting in the shadows, alongside my Spiders to make sure that they, never return back to life again..

For if I fail, nothing will stop them from enslaving Mankind again, with or without the help of the Dragons, and Alduin himself.

The Build

Race: Dark Elf
Blessings: Blessing of Arkay (Optional, useful but I normally kept forgetting about reactivating it again)

Something that you will rarely see made, is a build that utilises Spider Scrolls and Disntegrate. As something I had learnt is both Spider Scrolls (namely Cloaked Spiders) and Disintegrate, work together in perfect sync. How? Simple.

Cloaked Spiders, do levelled damage which also scales with the Difficulty (something I learnt in my Spider Scrolls Test, whereas Disintegrate always works, no matter the difficulty or the level (provided you have unlocked it first). Here are my notes on the Maximum DPS from Cloaks (Cloaked Spiders).

'The Maximum DPS from Cloaks are;
Novice:
-20 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 1 pt for 2 seconds
Apprentice:
-30 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 2 pts for 2 seconds
Adept:
- 40 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 3 pts for 2 seconds
Expert:
-60 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 4 pts for 2 seconds
Master:
-80 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 6 pts for seconds
Legendary:
-120 DPS at Level 50
-Albino Poison 9 pts for 2 seconds

NOTE: The Maximum DPS from the Cloaks can be increased even FURTHER with Weakness to Magicka/Element, and can be decrease by using Resist Magicka/Element and Abosrb Magicka.'

For those who don't know, Disintegrate, instantly kills any enemies hit by the Shock Spell under 15% Health into an Ash Pile, rendering that corpse 'useless' to Necromancers, and what is even better is that it has no Level Cap and works on all Enemies (except those who have 100% Shock Resistance, which is only Storm Atronachs and Orchendor).

About the Knights of the Nine Series (KoTN)

Those of you, who know what my KoTN is about, can continue to the Skill Overview section. My KoTN Series, has been inspired by the Knights of the Nine (KoTN) DLC from Oblivion, seeing both, Man, Mer and Beast unite to defeat Umaril the Unfeathered. (Ok, technically, there was no Beast or Orc Races, but you get the idea).

As I make more KoTN Builds, I will add them onto my Page (via a Banner, which will have an embedded link which will take you to the Build itself).

So what I wanted to do, is recreate the KoTN in Skyrim. Using every single Race and their 'boosted' skills, while 'working' for a Divine, such as Arkay. Doing this, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities that you can make. Truly, I have never perked or used the Master of the Mind perk in the Illusion tree and the Disintegrate perk is truly awesome. Anyway, onto the Skills.

Like Summer and Winter make up part of the 4 Seasons
So does Life and Death, make up the Wheel of Life.

Skill Overview

Before I begin, I want to note that the Build has both a Level 25 Perkspread with Equipment Spread and Level 40 Perkspread with Equipment Spread, with some other notes to make things just a little bit easier

Illusion: This skill, in the right hands, like the Rune Master, is just awesome. Throughout the course of the Playthrough, I used both Fury/Frenzy and Calm/Pacify. They both have their uses, but I had made sure that Calm Spells have/had the more usage.

Destruction: This skill, is the primary and only source of Damage, minus our Silver Sword. We will only be using Shock spells, as it drains our enemies Magicka (useful against Dragons, and Magic Users), and the Disintegrate perk, works wonders Roleplay wise.

Sneak: Ask anyone, this skill can be VERY over powered, however, I had only perked just enough to have Close Combat situations, while also having the ability to stay hidden/disappear at will. Never underestimate the power of a few perks, placed in the right areas.

Alteration: This skill, was purely used for Flesh Spells, however I stopped at Ironflesh, as to play smart, not hit hard. However, one thing I never thought about was the synergy with both Shock Spells, and the Lord Stone, with the Magic Resistance Perk/s.

Alchemy: This skill was purely used for Potions. I kept it this way, so things didn't become too easy or too hard. While increasing our DPS, the Potions, it can also increase our survivability, if thats' what you choose.

Light Armour: I merely had perked this slightly, as we won't be using full Light Armour, rendering most of the perks useless. I perked Light Armour, just enough not to get too cocky in battle with Sneak and Alteration.

A Shrine of Arkay glowing softly, like a candle amongst the darkness.

Early Gameplay (Level 1-25)

During the first, couple of Levels. Things will be a bit hard. Due to having a low Magicka Pool (even with the Novice Hood), for Illusion Spells along with Destruction Spells. However, this is where I had adopted the 'saying' of 'Playing smart, isn't always hitting the hardest, or the fastest'. Why? Well simple, throughout this Character, I learnt, that getting cocky can and will easily lead to being slaughtered.

I highly recommend, obtaining the Illusion perk of Quiet Casting. As this will, dramatically increase your survivial rate. However, beware about grinding. If you grind it, too fast, enemies will be too powerful for your Illusion Spells. Also, both Fury and Pacify Spells have their uses. But learn when to use one over the other. Fury is great for groups (aim for enemies who seem to have a Two Handed Weapon) but Calm is great for one on one battles. (However, just sometimes, Calm won't be able to be effective (e.g against a Bandit Chief) due to the NPC being a higher level).

Also, the Silver Sword, is VERY useful even though it has low Damage. As it has an enchantment that does 20 Damage to Undead (Vampires, Dragon Priests, Draugr etc), whether this is dealt as 'Physical Damage' or 'Magical Damage' (like other Enchantments), I'm not sure. In other words, I don't know if an enemies' Armour Rating or Magic Resistance affects it.

If you dare, to tackle any Dragon Priests, the one I highly recommend, is Vokun. Due to having Anska (provided she survived), as a 'follower' of sorts. You are able to tackle the other Dragon Priests, just be wary of them either summoning a Frost Atronach (Damage Sponge, do I really need to say more?) or a Storm Atronach, or a Dragon Priest using a Shock Spell/Staff.

Recommended Quests: The Way of The Voice (Don't visit the Greybeards), A Scroll for Anska, Laid to Rest (purely for the Garden (Requires Hearthfire).

NOTE: Throughout my playthrough, I personally had wandered Skyrim and had found Nordic Ruins, where I would clear them out, complete the related quest and put the dead to rest. However, this is purely optional.

NOTE: You can really use any Enchanted Leather Boots and Bracers, alongside the Ring. I had only put what I had at that level. Although, I had Leather Bracers of Major Wielding (25%) and Leather Boots of Resist Fire (15%).

Late Gameplay (Level 25+)

This is where things in combat get VERY interesting. How so? Well, as you get stronger and you Skills become better, you will become more able to create battles, where you will rise as the victor. In other words, you will find yourself, winning more battles and dealing with enemies more effectively and more effciently. Hell, at Level 40 I found that I was able to deal with both Draugr Deathlords and Draugr Scourges with ease, That was normally when I created a plan, instead of running blindly into battle.

In others words, 'Hit smart, not hard', will still remain your motto, throughout this entire Playthrough. Sneak, enables you to quickly hide in the shadows with Invisibilty and Muffle when found, but makes it where it isn't too easy, Same as Alteration, Shock Spells and the Lord Stone. They both make dealing with Magicka users such as Draugr, Dragons, and Dragon Priests easy, but not complete push overs.

I found myself, slowing hunting down the remaining Dragon Priests, in a way, where I would become more and more powerful after each encounter. After the Dragon Priests, (minus Morokei and Nahkriin, see the Roleplay Section for details on why). However, I made it so, that once the final Dragon Priest was defeated, (who was Raghot), I continued to put the Draugr to rest in Nordic Tombs, while I slowly, stopped my Playthrough.

Something I will say, never underestimate the power of the Master of the Mind and the Disintegrate perk, as both dramatically change the Build when acquired.

Recommended Quests: Dawnguard (I went up to entering and leaving the Soul Cairn purely due to Roleplay), Illusion Ritual Quest.

NOTE: Throughout my playthrough, I personally had wandered Skyrim and had found Nordic Ruins, where I would clear them out, complete the related quest and put the dead to rest. However, this is purely optional.

NOTE: As I had mentioned before, the Enchantments on the Leather Boots and Bracers are purely optional and up to the Player.

Potions

Throughout my entire playthrough, I found myself not really relying on Potions and not even touching Poisons (unless I was selling them). My Potion selection is small, however, this can and will change on the Player.

Magicka Enhancer (Potion)
Effects:

Special Moves

Throughout my journey with this Character, I had found some interesting Special Moves/Abilities, that I used without even realising it. They are;

NOTE: Most of these Special Moves have been created against the Undead, but can easily be used against the Living, with little to no changes.

-

Nullification (Passive): The Rune Master, is capable of resisting most spells, casted against him, with his moderate knowledge of Alteration and at the same time, draining his enemies of their Magicka, further reducing the damage taken in the long term.

Requires: Lord Stone, Magic Resistance 3/3, Shock Spells.

I found this incredibly useful against both Dragons and Dragon Priests, as both only (except for Dragons, who use Melee attacks), Spells as their primary form of Damage. Simply put:

25% (Lord Stone, Magicka Resistance) + (Magic Resistance, Perk 3/3) 30% = 55% of Magicka Resistance. Reducing all Magicka Damage by 55%.

If an enemy only is capable of using Fire Spells, this is even further reduced due to the Dunmers' Passive Fire Resistance of 50%. Add in the Magicka Damage done by Dragons, Dragon Priests etc, and you will find out that they have no choice but to find another form of damage.

-

Hidden: If either in a losing battle against the Undead or the Living or wishing to survey the battlefield, the Rune Master is capable of disappearing into the Shadows, only to reappear when he sees fit.

Requires: Invisibility (Optional), Muffle, Sneak Mode.

I used this Special Move, plenty of times whether I was either, surveying the battefield or simply fleeing a battle. Simply casted Muffle then Invisibilty and retreated into some Shadows in the Cave/Ruin or out of the place itself.

Never underestimate the stupidty of the enemies Detection A.I. Something to always note, is the Shadows and the layout of the map/level, as this is crucial to using Hidden to its maximum potential.

NOTE: I made sure that with this Special Move, it isn't possible to stand right in front of an Enemy and not get detected.

-

Scorching Strike: The Rune Master, has the ability of using Cloak Spells and dramatically increasing their Range via Potions. When combined with his Silver Sword, and Flame Cloaked Spiders, leaving nothing remaining of the Undead except for burnt remains.

Requires: Flame Cloak, Destruction Enhancer, Flame Cloaked Spiders (Optional).

Something that is not very known, is that the Damage dealt by Flame Cloaked Spiders can be stacked. Meaning the more Flame Cloaked Spiders, the more DPS dealt, and this further stacks with Cloak Spells. Against the Undead, this completely burns them to a crisp, leaving nothing but burnt remains.

I found this Special Move being very versatile, as you can either use it in conjunction with Hidden, and Denotation, (if you feel the extra DPS), all the while being useful in both Sneak Mode and close combat.

-

Lightning Strike: The Rune Master is more then capable of damaging the Undead and the Living, while either hidden in the Shadows, or in close combat, through his Cloak spells, while having the possibility of instantly killing both the Living and the Undead, and leaving nothing but a Ash Pile.

Requires: Lightning Cloak, Disintegrate (Recommended but optional), Destruction Enhancer.

Essentially the same as Scorching Strike, except for exchanging Flame Cloak with Lightning Cloak, which is further bolstered by Destruction Enhancers (like Flame Cloaks), and the Disintegrate perk.

Another thing that sets Lightning Strike and Scorching Strike apart is that, Undead are burnt quickly to a crisp with Scorching Strike, but Lightning Strike can and will turn all enemies into mere Ash Piles.

Essentially, they both have their uses and are incredibly useful against both the Living and the Undead.

-

Denotation: The Rune Master, is capable of creating Runes, that once trigger have the ability to explode dealing Fire Damage, to all those nearby. The Rune Master is also, more than able to significantly increaase the damage done by these Runes.

Requires: Fire Rune, Rune Master (Optional), Destruction Enhancer (Optional)

As we all know, Destruction Runes are deal about 50 damage, which really isn't much. However, something I have stumbled across, is that Destruction Runes are affected Damage wise by Fortify Destruction perks, greatly increasing their effectiveness, especially when combined with Rune Master (perk).

NOTE: To my knowledge, Destruction Runes are not affected by either Augmented Perks nor Intense Flames, Deep Freeze or Disintegrate.

-

Final Rest: The Undead, have only truly experienced Death. Sadly, some Undead, come back, sometimes without their consent. The Rune Master, along with Arkay's Blessing, can give the Undead a true Death, leaving only a mere ash pile of the Undead. Never to be raised or disturbed again.

Requires: Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning, Disintegrate, Flame Cloaked Spiders/Flame Cloak (Both Optional)

Final Peace, is absolutely the strongest Ability against the Undead, as combined with Disntegrate, Shock Spells and Flame Cloaked Spiders, it can make easy work of them. As Flame Cloaked Spiders, can deal approx. 35 pts of DPS via their Cloak on Adept, which increases with Higher Difficulties.

This combined, with the Disintegrate perk, which activates when the target has 15% of their maximum HP, creates some interesting situations, especially when used against Undead (due to their Weakness to Fire).

-

Tactics

Throughout this entire build, I have kept saying 'Play smart, not hit hard', or something along those lines. This is because as you won't have enough Armour Rating to fight in close combat, with a Dragon, nor will you have enough Magic Resistance to sit in the line of fire (well line of... You get the idea).

Against groups of Warriors, I recommend using Frenzy/Frenzy Rune, for the AoE (Area of Effect), or if you don't have that, simply use Fury against what you think is the biggest threat (i.e the closest one/with the strongest armour (as enemies with better armor, generally are the stronger variant)). Amidst the chaos, I recommend either using Cloaked Spiders (as this is the perfect oppurnity due to their constant Cloak Aura), and/or Chain Lightning, due to its ability to hit multiple targets with one cast. Essentially any of the Special Moves, are highly recommended, due to their AoE effects.

When up against Archers, simply pick them off with either Frenzy/Fury (as they generally don't have much HP, so they will go down rather quickly), or even better. Cast Frenzy into a Crowd, and whoever is left, either initiate close combat with them or cast Frenzy again.

All warriors, brutes and anyone inbetween only have and rely strength.
Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sonetimes.

Dragons and Mages, are fairly easy. With Dragons, keep your distance while spamming Lightning Bolt, use any Destruction Enhancer to increase the Damage. However, you really won't be needing any Dragon Souls (Roleplay Section below) so you won't really come across them often. Against Mages, simply use, Frenzy, Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning, with the occasional Denotation (if you have the Magicka) and just rinse and repeat. I highly recommend working towards/having Nullification when approaching Dragons and Mages.

You will generally be coming across Undead/Draugr quite often in your adventures, so I highly recommend learning what their A.I is like and how they react in certain situations. You can either use Burning Strike, Denotation, or Final Rest, to make quick work of these opponents.

Dragon Priests, are the one and only enemy, you will actively hunt for and encounter besides the Undead/Draugr. I found battles against Dragon Priests, to be quite fun and enjoyable. I can not recommend enough using Destruction Enhancers, along with Final Rest.

WARNING: When Dragon Priests, summon a Storm Atronach, I cannot emphaise this enough, have either a follower or use Cloaked Spiders against the Dragon Priest, and FOCUS on the Atronach, in both the Early Game and Late Game, as it will dramatically change the battlefield (even with Nullification).

HOWEVER, if you have the Master of the Mind perk, I highly recommend using Pacify (with a Illusion Enhancer) on the Atronach. Doing so, will essentially make the Atronach useless for the Dragon Priest for 60 seconds. Leaving the Dragon Priest open to attacks, I cannot stress enough how badly you need to drain the DPs' Magicka Pool. Doing so, will stop Atronach's being summoned. If you must escape and regroup, use Hidden.

Deep in Ragnvald, the Rune Master battles the Dragon Priest, Otar the Mad.

Roleplay

Roleplay for the Rune Master is fairly simple, by following Arkays' Commandment, which is;

Honor the earth, its creatures, and the spirits, living and dead. Guard and tend the bounties of the mortal world and do not profane the spirits of the dead.

Following this was fairly simple. I avoided using any Enchanted Weapons (due to need recharging via Soul Gems). I found using the Silver Sword, was very helpful as it felt like something a Priest of Arkay would use, while dealing extra damage to Undead, without needing Soul Gems for recharging.

The reason why I used no Shouts, was once again due to Souls. It felt wrong for a Priest of Arkay to absorb Dragon Souls, and even worse to use them to unlock them. Hence, why I completely avoided the Main Quest, as it heavily requires absorbing Dragon Souls, only to use them to unlock Shouts. If that makes any sense.

At the same time, I tried imitating the 'average joe', hence why I never completed the Dawnguard questline (stopped at Prophet as imagine, how would a Priest of Arkay feel in the Soul Cairn? A place of tortured/captured souls), battled with Potema (or begun her relevant quests). As think about it, how can a Priest of Arkay, stand up against an ancient Vampire Lord, or even hope to defeat the Wolf Queen?

I imagined the Rune Master, being the best of the best, when it came to Priests of Arkay, but barely defeating Dragon Priests. Hence why I left both Morokei and Nahrkiin, as I RP'ed them both being High Dragon Priests, (mainly because both are already 'awakened' and quest locked).

Another reason, why the Rune Master is the 'average joe' is that almost every Priest of Arkay is capable of using Restoration Magic, whereas the Rune Master isn't. Hence why I used Disintegrate alongside with Master of the Mind against the Undead to my advantage.

Like I said, the Rune Master is the best of the best, when it comes to Priests of Arkay, but is nothing compared to the Warlock.

Closing Notes

I wanted to say thanks to;

-Aysleph, I really owe it to him. Why? He was the one who really gave the motivation for continuing the KoTN, instead of just taking my loooonnng time.

-Dota 2 Gamepedia (where I got all my Special Move Icons)

-Those of you, who gave me, the inspiration to look into Spider Scrolls, hence the usage of them here.

-You, the reader for giving me the motivation for getting back into the KoTN Series, as I had honestly thought, not many people were/are interested.

Trust me, I plan to push out more of my KoTN builds this year. I have about 2 that are ready to be tested, one complete (only needs some minor edits, one last playthrough and a type up). The others, I'm not sure, the Master of Arms is going to take some time due to the different 'classes' and the Ranger will be... Interesting to say the least. As I never really use Archery.

Anyway, thanks for reading my build guys! I hope you have as much fun as I did, playing it and creating it. If you have any comments, criticism (no matter how harsh), say it in the comments.

Don't forget, if you like my build, make sure to click the 'like' button! It may mean nothing to you, but it means alot to us, Builders.

(Those who know my original, Mage of Arkay, will know that (in my opinion) it was horrible. Hence why, I redone it from scratch. (Really using the Ebony Mail as an 'artefact' of Arkay, what was I thinking)).

I have been gone for a long time due to reasons. A while ago, I came across a book found in Skyrim by the name 'The Third Door' and wanted to recreate the main character or at least a descendant of the character, while creating some of my own lore. Hence, how this build came to life. What became create is a Warrior, not afraid to play dirty similiar to a Brute (the Class not the Build). Anywho, onto the build, shall we?

Queen of the Axe

The reputation of the Queen of the Axe was destroyed, so many years ago. Because of the crimes my grandmother had committed, and what had been written in the Third Door. People think the the Queen of the Axe is a myth, a legend. However, what people refuse to believe is that sometimes legends are real, and very much alive.

I am the granddaughter of the original Queen of the Axe. My name is Ellabeth III.

The only people who’ll hire me, are either stupid, desperate, or both. Or, perhaps they are simply not blind to the truth. I am a wandering sellsword of sorts, sometimes I am hired to kill or aid certain people, other times I am hired to acquire ancient relics.

I have received a letter from Ulfric Stormcloak, leader of the Stormcloak Rebellion, to help him win the Civil War. I have been told to enlist, as a normal soldier at Windhelm, and to keep a low profile, as he does not want the soldiers to know who I am. As most of them, believe the myth, that my grandmother killed Nienolas the Mighty and that my mother went on a killing spree, for unknown reasons, only to be put down by a dozen guardsmen.

The legends about my family, back to the original Queen of the Axe are true, but what people don't know, is that Mephala, has had a hand in the death of my grandmother and my mother. That and she has sent her right hand, the Spider Queen, leader of the Spider Daedra to either hunt me down, or make those who are near and dear to me either exile and/or kill me.

I must tread carefully, as I fear Skyrim will be my final resting place.

The Build

Race: Breton Female

Stone: Warrior-> Lady

Stats: 100/490/300 (Including Enchantments, no Blessings or Potion, Buffs. You can use Potions/Blessings/Buffs to further increase your stats if need be).

Shouts: Become Ethereal, Drain Vitality (glitched verison).

Quests: Twelve Labours (See below)

Passives: Become Ethereal Meditation, Blessing of Talos, Sinderion’s Serendipity.

Something I have not really see used often is Bleeding Damage from Orcish War Axes and Battleaxes. During the playthroughs, I was wondering on how to make combat while either Dual Wielding or wielding a giant Battleaxe, into an elegant dance. I didn't need to look far due to Power Attacks!

I never have seen used, is Builds based around playing as a Mercenary. One can argue that, the Dragonborn, in Skyrim, is effectively a Mercenary as you get paid for almost EVERY quest. But I like to think it is the Roleplay, that truly sets the Queen apart from normal Mercs.

Playing as a Breton for this build is highly recommended, due to thier natural resistance to Magic (25%), along with Dragonskin, which is a god send on higher difficulties and higher levels, while being connected to 'The Third Door'. I also used the small height to my advantage as I imagine Bandits seeing a small Breton would assume that she is weak and fragile. Ha!

Skill Overview

One Handed: This skill is primary source of damage, used against Living NPCs, Automatons, and sometimes Undead. We will be using Orcish War Axes, (they appear around Level 12), while also perking Hack and Slash, to utilise a slight bug/oversight that practically created this Build. Read the Bleeding Damage Section for more info.

Two Handed: This skill is our secondary source of Damage, used againist Dragons and sometimes Undead. We will be using the Orcish Battleaxe, but can easily be changed for the Elven Battleaxe. I would suggest Wuuthrad, but it doesn't seem to be affected by Bleeding Damage.

Alchemy: This skill is essential as it enables us to increase our survivability, and increase the damage of our Shouts and Bleeding Damage, while adding in some helpful boosts, to our DPS, via Lingering Damage Poisons.

Light Armour: This skill is used for recreating the 'look' of a Mercenary, while enabling us, increased Stamina Regen via Wind Walker, which easily carries its weight in combat.

Enchanting: This skill is purely optional, as looking for the Enchanted Orcish War Axes and Battleaxe can get pretty annoying. This skill is only used for Weapon Enchantments and making recharging our weapons easier. Perks can easily be used to add Armour Enchantments, but I found it more fun to use it as a Minor Skill.

Speech: This skill is used from a roleplay perspective, of both being a Mercenary for the Stormcloaks/Imperials, and being the granddaughter of the dreaded Queen of the Axe.

Arms and Armour

In my honest opinion, Scaled Armour seems suitable for a (Wandering) Mercenary, like the Queen of the Axe. Fortify Health and Stamina have been chosen to boost the Queen's' HP and Stamina. The Amulet of Talos has been used, in conjunction with the Blessing of Talos to make Shouts more easier to use in combos, and too stack. For this reason, I have only used Become Ethereal (One Word) and Drain Vitality (Glitched Version), due to their short Cooldowns.

The Orcish Battleaxe can be found or bought from Merchants, while the War Axes, have been created via an Arcane Enchanter. If you want, you can find the Orcish War Axe of Despair and Soul Snares via Merchants through the punch reload method.

Tactics and Enemies

Throughout Skyrim, you will come across several enemies, each requiring a different tactic. Due to having 200-250 AR End Game, I highly recommend using the Vitality/Vigor Booster, along with Become Ethereal and the Lady Stone.

Archers can be found almost everywhere in Skyrim and at higher levels, can become rather difficult to deal with, I highly recommend using Charge to get close and personal. I also recommend taking these guys out second, after any mages. If you choose to make the battle, more easier that is.

Mages and Dragons will one of the most strongest opponents, Early Game and End Game. I highly recommend using Charge, along with Denial. If they are out of range, use Drain Vitality every chance you get, as it has the reach of Unrelenting Force (3 Words) and staggers them. Also, staggering both Mages and Dragons can and will heavily even up the battlefield.

Warriors won't really be much of a problem. Unless of course they either have enchanted weapons (Bandit Chiefs) or have poisoned weapons (Falmer). Use either Curse, The Elegant Dance or No Mercy.

Automatons and Undead both aren't affected by Poisons, Fear Enchantments and Bleeding Damage. At higher levels, I highly recommend taking them out ASAP, while combining both Become Ethereal and Vitality/Vigor Booster.

NOTE: Undead ARE affected by Absorb Health, whereas Automatons are not, making them the stronger out of the two.

Hell, get creative in combat. There are countless ways to defeat your opponents, one thing I highly recommend is using Power Attacks for Staggering. In other words, play dirty.

Bleeding Damage

Ah, Bleeding Damage. When I first started playing Skyrim, I never used Hack and Slash or Limbsplitter, as they seemed useless. Not anymore though. Due to a bug, Orcish War Axes/Battleaxes, do 18 Bleeding Damage over 8 seconds if you have Hack and Slash/Limbsplitter at Level 3. This might not seem much, but it is the equivalent of using Daedric War Axes/Battleaxes.

18 Bleeding Damage over 8 seconds, isn't much, but what I haven't seen used is the combination of Weakness to Magicka Poisons, Drain Vitality and Lingering Poisons. Thats right, Bleeding Damage is classed as a Magical Effect, meaning that it is affected by Weakness to Magicka AND Drain Vitailty is effectively Bleeding Damage, but just affects Stamina and Magicka at the same time.

In short;
Bleeding Damage (BD), Drain Vitality (DV), Weakness to Magicka Poisons all stack!
I'll be calling this Advanced Bleeding Damage, purely for ease of typing and reading.

Once you through, Weakness to Poison, Lingering Damage Magicka/Health along side with Advanced Bleeding Damage, creates what I like to call; Ultimate Bleeding Damage.

Simply put, Lingering Poisons, stack along side Advanced Bleeding Damage, and the Lingering Poisons are futher increased via Weakness to Poison Poisons.
What is even better, is that ALL of the effects (Magical and Poison), all last 10 seconds. Expect for;
-BD which lasts 8 seconds (when using Orcish War Axe/Battle Axe
-Drain Vitality which lasts 20 seconds and its cool down is 12 seconds and it STACKS!
-Weakness Poisons, which last 30 seconds.

Oh and don't forget, you can increase the strength of your Weakness to Magicka Poison, by applying a Weakness to Poison Poison! (Not sure if Weakness to Poison would stack with another Weakness to Poison via Concentrated Poison).

Special Moves

Ah, I rather enjoyed creating Special Moves for the Queen of the Axe. Due to the fact that, it is a part of the History of the Queen of the Axe (purely from the Third Door).

Basic: These moves are simple yet effective and can be used at any level.

Charge: Due to her advanced knowledge in Axes, the Queen of the Axe can charge towards a single enemy, while temporarily deflecting all damage, and using no stamina.

Requires: Become Ethereal, Critical Charge, Dual Wielding.

Charge becomes a great way to start battles, and it can easily be down the moment you acquired Critical Charge and Become Ethereal. This can easily be changed into using the Battleaxe, by simply using Great Critical Charge instead.

Curse: The fools who have either read the Third Door or heard of the Queen of the Axe, fear her, due to the murder of Nienolas the Mighty. However, they soon come out of this state of terror, only to return to it once more. There are rumours that the Queen knows where to hit, to cause continous pain, even when out of her sight.

Requires: Dual Axe Stance, Drain Vitality, Hack and Slash (Optional)

Curse is very effective against those who are affected by the Fear enchantment. Start off by using by tapping both left and right triggers (doing so does similar to a Dual Power Attack with no Stamina being drained), and use Drain Vitality as they are fleeing. If they survive Drain Vitality and come back, simply rinse and repeat.

Denial: Those who either study or use the Arcane soon find them losing concentration and becoming weaker to the very thing they control, all the while the Queen of the Axe leeches their vitality.

Requires: Orcish Battleaxe of Absorption, Magebane, Toxin (Optional).

I found this incredibly useful in combat against Mages, in the early levels. You can use any Battleaxe pre-enchanted with Absorb Health. This move is greatly increased when Concentrated Poison and Toxin are used.

-

Advanced: This moves are slightly more difficult to use and master, but are devastating in combat when used right.

-

No Mercy: Very few are Experts in Axes and even fewer are Masters. Masters, like the Queen, know how to deal heavy damage to a single opponent, in the blink of an eye.

Requires: Dual Axe Stance, Drain Vitality, Hack and Slash, Toxin, Venom , Vitality Booster.

I found this incredibly useful at times, against either a strong single opponent, or a troublesome foe who didn't play fair. You can easily drop Toxin and Venom if need be. I use it purely to stack the Bleeding Damage.

The Elegant Dance: Few are Experts in Axes and even fewer are Masters, but none have the skill like the Queen of the Axe. Groups have challenged her, only to be cut down nearly instantly before they draw their weapons. Those who do survive the first attack, rarely survive the second or the third.

Requires: Orcish Battleaxe of Absorption, Sweep, Magebane, Concentrated Poison, Vigor Booster.

I found this incredibly useful when surrounded by enemies such as Bandits and Falmer. Vigor/Vitality Booster gives some much needed Health Regen along with extra Stamina, while Magebane increases the power of Absorb Health.

Potions and Poisons

This build is heavily based around Poisons but does also use Potions, to further increase survivability in combat. The Potions and Poisons are below, I highly recommend creating your own Potions/Poisons, as I was sometimes foregoing Fast Travel, for Ingredient Hunting.

Hell, sometimes finding Torchbugs was difficult as at time I wasn't Fast Travelling (mainly depended on where I was), so I mainly created Magebane with a Weakness to Magicka effect.

Venom (Poison)
Effects:
-Lingering Damage Health 21 points per second, for 10 seconds.
Ingredients: Mora Tapinella, Imp Stool

Magebane (Poison)
Effects:
-Lingering Damage Magicka 21 points per second for 10 seconds
-Weakness to Magicka, 42% for 30 seconds
Ingredients: Torchbug Thorax, Salt Pile/Dwarven Oil, Wheat

I don't expect you, reader, to know of the Twelve Labours. To save a bit of your time, the Twelve Labours are apart of the Greek/Roman myth of Hercules/Hercales. I wanted to recreate these Twelve Labours in Skyrim for Ellabeth III, who is trying to restore the reputation of the Queen of the Axe and possibly get rid of the Spider Queen.

I used the Twelve Labours as my 'Quests' for the Build. You can change most of the Labours to suit yourself, expect for the Restore/Liberate Labours (See below).

Retrieve the Jagged Crown

Battle for Whiterun

Restore the Peace, Whiterun
-Blessing of Nature (Non Hostile Route)
-Missing In Action

Liberate and Restore the Peace, Falkreath
-Retrieve Runils' Journal
-Deliver Berit's Ashes
-Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!

Liberate/Restore the Peace, the Reach
-The Lost Expedition
-Forsworn Conspiracy/No One Escapes Cindha Mine (Kill the King of Rags)
-Defeat Red Eagle

Liberate/Restore the Peace, Hjaalmarch
-Laid to Rest

Main Quest (Finish it)

The White Phial, Repairing the Phial, Return to your Roots

Dawnguard (Dawnguard Side, Finish it)

Restore the Peace, Dawnstar
-Waking Nightmares

Liberate/Restore the Peace, Solitude
-Lights Out!
-The Man Who Cried Wolf, The Wolf Queen Awakens

Reclaim a unified Skyrim for the Stormcloaks
-Completion of all other Labours

NOTE: I wasn't able to complete the 12 Labours due to not being able to have a 'visit' from Astrid. I found out that this was a bug via the UESP and has no known fix. Hence why I was stuck using the second version of Drain Vitality (Glitched Version, does 2 Damage to Stats per second, whereas, the third version does 3 Damage to Stats per second).

I imagined that after Restoring and Liberating each Hold controlled by the Imperials, the citizens of Skyrim would see, that the Stormcloaks are better for Skyrim as each problem that had be apparent when the Imperials were around, were gone. (E.g Gildergreen dead/dying, Potema). After completing the Twelve Labours, I imagine Ulfric Stormcloak, send the word, that he and his Stormcloaks had liberated and restored Skyrim.

I also, envisioned Ellabeth, being furious, realising that Ulfric merely used her as a tool, nothing more. Only for a Kill on Sight to be placed on Ellabeth, no matter where she went in Skyrim. All her friends having turned their backs on her.

NOTE: You can easily work for the Imperials and simply change some of the Labours.

Roleplay

Recreating the Queen of the Axe was rather difficult in some areas, as I had to somehow add an Epilogue of the Third Door, and how the descendants of the original Queen of the Axe would be seen and how the Man and Mer would react towards them.

After seeing her own mother trying to murder her, only to be put down by nearby guardsmen and exiled from High Rock, Ellabeth became a sellsword of sorts. Or a mercenary, (they are both the same thing, I think). Doing dangerous and odd jobs, trying to figure out how to rid herself of the Spider Queen.

Ellabeth, knows what it is like to be looked down upon, by friends and even complete strangers. But she knows right from wrong. She knows the murder of innocents is not right. She doesn’t contest killing Bandits, Undead and Animals. However, if she must, Ellabeth will not hesitate to either raise a weapon or intimidate anyone from guards, to merchants to even Jarls.

Due to her past and the history of the Queen of the Axe, she does not under any circumstances aid the Daedric Lords, or even the Divines. She knows very well, that the Daedric Lords exist, but she doesn't believe the Divines do, after all she has been through. Because if the Divines existed, surely they would have done something to aid her family.

Ellabeth, tries to keep a distance from anyone and everyone as she knows, one day they will either hear about the Third Door and look at her with disgust or exile or murder her, while under the influence of the Spider Queen.

Recommended Mods

I never really used any mods, during playing as Ellabeth, expect for SkyUI which is incredibly helpful in regards to the Favourites Menu. I wish I knew about it earlier.

Helmet Toggle: I never actually knew about this mod, till after finishing the playthrough. I highly recommend it as some characters look better without a Helmet or Circlet, like Ellabeth III.

Closing Notes

I’ve finally completed typing this build. According to Google Docs, it is about 13 pages long. Bloody feels like it… If you have any questions, please ask away!

Also, I’d like to thank Curse for holding the Tales of Tamriel, giving me some much needed pointers, telling me about Bleeding Damage being a Magical Effect, Screenshots and the Skill Icons (I needed a ‘bit’ of help as I am still a bit rusty admittedly). However, that first screeshot was an attempt by me.

For those, who are wondering. The Spider Queen, is the right hand of Mephala, sent to hunt those who anger her. I will be creating a build based around Her. I also, may create a Short Story based around Ellabeth III. Who knows!

NOTE: I created the Spider Queen, She is not actually in any Lore found in the Elder Scrolls Universe that I know of.

They were apparently a Knightly Order which was reforged to battle Umaril the Unfeathered, following in the steps of Pelinal Whitestrake, who was waging war against the Ayleids. Apparent from battling Umaril (more about him later), the Knights of the Nine had another purpose: that purpose was to find and regain the Relics of the Crusader (more on than later).

In 3E 111, Sir Amiel Lannus had founded the Knights of the Nine with the intention of recovering the lost holy Relics of the Crusader, which had been created by the Divines themselves. The Knights of the Nine grew in fame, and had recovered many of the holy Relics, but after the War of the Red Diamond, the Knights slowly 'fell' apart or disbanded and they had then lost all but of the Relics.

In 3E 433, Umaril the Unfeathered returned to the mortal realm on Nirn, after having been reborn in the Fires of Creation due to his strange alliance with Meridia. The fallen King (Umaril), had led an attack on the Nine Divines by desecrating the Chapels, with his army of Aurorans.

Umaril the Unfeathered: Umaril was an Ayleid sorcerer-king who had once ruled all of Tamriel and enslaved the human population (possibly during a Dragon Break as I can not find more information about it). Umaril was a 'half-Elf', born of an Ayleid mother and a divine father.

Umaril had an alliance with the Daedric Lord of Life, Meridia. His alliance with Meridia, had granted him immortality: despite his physical form being killed, his spiritual form would live on and inevitably return. Thus, Umaril would "never know death".

Umaril was defeated by Pelinal Whitestrake (also known as the Divine Crusader) at the start of the First Era, during the Human uprising against the Ayleids and the fall of the White-Gold Tower. When Umaril was defeated, he was cast adrift in the 'waters of Oblivion', (where all Daedra go when they are defeated in Mundus) and many thousands of years past before he could return to Mundus.

Umaril had returned at the end of the Third Era, to seek vengeance upon the Divines, as they brought about his fall. The Hero of Kvatch, had learned of Umaril's return, via a vision from the Divines themselves. The Hero of Kvatch had gathered the Relics of the Crusaders originally used by Whitestrake. The Hero defeated Umaril, in his physical form, but had been mortally wounded in the process, weakening him to a point where entering the Aetherius was suicide.

Once again Umaril, was in the 'waters of Oblivion' slowly planning, the destruction of both the Divines and the Crusader's Relics. After that moment Umaril (somehow) became half Daedra and Umaril

Pelinal Whitestrake: Pelinal Whitestrake, fought alongside Morihaus as the champion of Queen Alessia during the Alessian Slave Rebellion, early in the First Era. Pelinal is one name for the "legendary immortal hero/heroine" who wandered Tamriel in the Late Merethic Era building up Kingdoms and abandoning them to wander again.

Whitestrake served the revolution by slaying the Sorcerer-Kings (Umaril) if the Ayleid cite-states in single combat. Towards the end of the war, the rebellion forces began moving closer to the White-Gold Tower, leading Umaril the Unfeathered to challenge him to a duel.

Pelinal had killed Umaril nonetheless, but his victory was shot lived as he was mortally wounded. The other Elf Kings were descending upon Pelinal but the Divines had intervened taking Pelinal to the Aetherius as they knew, Pelinal was and is the only force capable of defeating Umaril.

The Build

Race: Imperial
Stats: 1/2/1 (M/H/S)
Stone: Mage -> Lady/Atronach/Lord
Major Skills: One Handed, Enchanting, Destruction.
Minor Skills: Restoration, Heavy Armour, Speech.
Shouts: None.

The reason why we are using the Lady Stone is that the Regeneration effect given by the Lady Stone can be quite useful in the midst of battle. We shall not be using any the Thu'um (also known as Shouts) because we are not Dragonborn. The Mage Stone gives us some much needed help with levelling our Destruction and Restoration, due to both Restoration and Destruction skills being the slowest levelling skill in the game.

Imperials are the perfect race for the build because they gain 'boosts' to every single skill that the Divine Crusader uses (besides Speech), as well as I 'believe' that the original Divine Crusader whom was Pelinal Whitestrake was an Imperial. Although, any 'Man' races work equally as well. The Divine Crusader is a holy Paladin/Knight blessed by the Nine Divines in his quest of recovering the Relics, defeating Umaril (see the Final Battle for more details) and destroying any and all evil in Nirn.

Skill Overview

One Handed: This shall be our primary source of damage, as you can tell. Not including Destruction, against the Undead that is. Take the perks, Armsman, Bonebreaker, Bladesman and Fighting Stance.

Enchanting: This skill shall be our support skill, and it shall help us 'rediscover' the Relics (more on them later), it (the skill) will also allow use to increase our survivability and our damage. Perks used are: Enchanter 5/5. Insightful Enchanter, Corpus Enchanter, Extra Effect, Fire Enchanter.

Destruction: This skill is primarily used for ranged damage and gaining more damage via Augmented Flames for the Sword and Mace of the Crusader (more on them later). Taken perks are, Novice-Adept and Augmented Flames

Restoration: This skill will be used for mainly, 'purifying' the Undead (Draugr, Vampires etc.), and it shall be used for healing yourself, and casting Turn/Repel Undead and Wards. Perks taken are Novice-Expert, Regeneration, Necromage, Respite, Recovery and Ward Absorb.

Heavy Armour: This skill is very minor and is only used for increasing our armour rating (also known as AR) as we shall be using Dawnguard armour (Heavy Armour variant more on that later). The taken perks are from Juggernaut to Tower of Strength.

Speech: This skill is heavily used due to being 'blessed' and due to the Helm of the Crusader, created and blessed by Dibella herself. Perks taken in this skill tree are used to remind the people of Skyrim that the Knights of the Nine have returned. Take all perks besides Intimidation.

Click to image to enlarge

Combat

With the Relics of the Crusader, taking down really any enemy will be easy. Taking on enemies around level 20-25 may seem easy, but it will all change if you either make the wrong move (slip of a cliff edge on accident) or if you underestimate your opponent.

Archers: Simply either use your Fire spells (Fireball, Firebolt etc.) to take them out or simply raise your shield (Spellbreaker) and slowly walk to your enemy and either use a combination of bashing and 'swipes' or strikes with the Mace of the Crusader which has been created and blessed by Zenithar, the Divine/God of Work and Commerce.

Mages/Dragons: Mages shall be the easiest opponent you come across, due to having Spellbreaker, Wards, Ward Absorb, Sword of the Crusader and Destruction spells. When you come across any mages simply raise, a Ward or Spellbreaker, and start casting Destruction spells (Fire spells) at your target. I highly recommend gaining Ward Absorb so you are able to stand behind your Ward while casting your spells without the fear of running out of Magicka.

Warriors: Warriors, can be an moderate opponent but if underestimated (Bandit Chiefs) they can and will destroy you. I recommend using either the Mace or the Sword of the Crusader paired with Spellbreaker.

Undead: The Undead which includes Draugr, Vampires, and so on. At range with the Undead, I recommend using Sun Fire/Vampire's Bane if you do not have those spells, I recommend using any Fire based Destruction spells.

At close combat, I recommend casting Stendarr's Aura and then equipping the Sword of the Crusader and Spellbreaker. Doing so will allow you to allow you wipe the floor with corpses of the Undead, but beware certain enemies such as Draugr Death Overlords equipped with a Ebony War hammer will destroy you if you are not careful.

All evil shall fear the Crusader for he/she is blessed by the Nine Divines.

Obtaining the Relics

You may not have known/noticed but in the plug in the Knights of the Nine, each Relic was created by a Divine but there were Trails to obtain them. In this section I shall recreate the Trails and I shall explain about the Relics.

Lore: The Divine Crusader's Relics

The Crusader's Relics is a set of Aedric artefacts, created by the Nine Divines and given to the Divine Crusader, Pelinal Whitestrake. This effect is known as the Blessing of Talos (more on that later).

Each Relic was created by a Divine but protected by a Trail, created by a Divine.

Helm of the Crusader:
Creator: Goddess of Beauty, Queen of Heaven, commonly known as Dibella.
Enchantments: Fortify Restoration, Fortify Barter
Item: Gold and Ruby Circlet
Trail: Complete "The Heart of Dibella" quest in Markarth.

Cuirass of the Crusader
Creator: Goddess of Love, commonly known as Mara
Enchantments: Fortify Restoration, Fortify Health.
Item: Dawnguard Heavy Armour (White/Grey variant).
Trails: Complete "The Book of Love", "Bonds of Matrimony" and "Spread the love" quests in Riften.

Gauntlets of the Crusader
Creator: God of Mercy, Charity, and Well-Earned Luck, also known as Stendarr
Enchantments: Fortify Block, Fortify Heavy Armour
Item: Steel Plate Gauntlets
Trail: Complete the Dawnguard Questline (Dawnguard side obviously).

Boots of the Crusader
Creator: Goddess of the Heavens, the winds, elements and the unseen spirits of the air, commonly known as Kynareth.
Enchantments: Fortify Stamina Regen, Fortify Stamina
Item: Steel Plate Boots
Trail: Complete 'The Blessing of Nature" in Whiterun

Necklace of the Crusader
Creator: 'Chief' of the Nine Divines, Father to the Dragons, also known as Akatosh.
Enchantments: Fortify Magicka, Fortify Destruction
Item: Gold Ruby Necklace
Trail: Complete the Dragonborn Questline.

Shield of the Crusader
Creator: God of Wisdom and Logic, commonly known as Julianos
Item: (Cleansed see below for more information) Spellbreaker
Trail: Complete the College of Winterhold Main Questline in Winterhold.

Sword of the Crusader
Creator: Lord of the Wheel of Life, commonly known as Arkay or Ark'ay
Enchantments: Fire Damage, Drain Magicka
Item: Silver Sword
Trail: Complete the quest "The Wolf Queen Awakened" in Solitude

Mace of the Crusader
Creator: God of Work and Commerce, the Provider of our Ease, commonly known as Zenithar.
Enchantments: Fire Damage, Turn Undead
Item: Steel Mace
Trail: Complete the quest "The Man who cried Wolf" in Solitude

Blessing of Talos
Creator: Tiber Septim, Ysmir, 'Dragon of the North' commonly known as Talos
Trail: Find all of the Crusaders Relics and complete the Civil War Questline (Imperials).
Effect: Creates a blinding aura, which damages nearby Undead and the Fallen King.
Replicated by using Stendarr's Aura.

After you have finished the Trail of one Relic, you must bring it to its creator's shrine. For example, the Boots of Kynareth must be brought to a Shrine of Kynareth. Once you have brought the Relic to its creator's shrine, activate the Shrine. Doing so will notify the Divine of your 'deed'.

Then obtain an Amulet of the creator/Divine. For example, you need a Amulet of Kynareth for the Boots of Kynareth to 'recreate' them. Once you have done so, you are now able to apply the required enchantments to the item.

You must kill all of the Afflicted in Bthardamz and Kesh the Clean to enable the Nine Divines to cleanse it. To cleanse Spellbreaker you must pray at all Nine (yes, Nine including Talos), to cleanse the Aedric artefact and rid it of the vile, corruption created by Daedric Lord Peryite.

The Final Battle

Once you have obtain all 8 Relics of the Crusader and the Blessing of Talos, the Divines will lead you to your destiny, defeating and destroying the Fallen King once and for all. From what the Divines have told you in a vision the Fallen Kings' physical body was destroyed but not his spirit.

The Fallen Kings' spirit has taken over Alduin, who proclaims himself as Akatoshs' Firstborn. You have been asked, personally by Akatosh to rid Alduin of Umaril the Feathered, but to do so you must destroy Alduin.

To destroy Alduin/Umaril you MUST have obtained the Relics and each single Relic must be once more blessed by its creator. For example the Boots of the Crusader must be blessed by Kynareth. To bless the Relics simply, place the Relic on the ground in front of the Shrine and 'pray'/activate the Shrine doing so will bless the Relic. enabling you to destroy Umaril/Alduin once and for all.

Rebuilding the Knights of the Nine

The Crusader has been ordered by the Nine Divines to rebuild the holy Knights of the Nine. To do so you must have a house built (I would choose Falkreath as it looks similar to the Priory of the Nine). To recreate the Knights of the Nine you must 'recruit' worthy Knights. These Knights shall have their build of their own for each, giving a unique play through.

The Knights are as follows:

- The Mage (Altmer/High Elf) - The Scout (Argonian) - The Archer (Bosmer/Wood Elf)

- The Conjurer (Breton) - The Battlemage (Dunmer) - The Thief/Assassin (Khajiit)

- The Barbarian (Nord) - The Warrior (Orc) - The Spellsword (Redguard)

This is a rough basic idea. Each race will be used once, and in each build will ONLY use skills that are boosted by the race. For example Orcs have a 10+ in Heavy Armour, while having 5+ in Block, Two Handed, Enchanting, Smithing and One Handed, meaning you can only use those particular skills. Thus making some builds incredibly powerful in combat and others strong in other areas. Relycs and myself believe this is how the races in Skyrim are really meant to be played.

To recruit the Knights while playing as the Crusader, find a follower of each race. Then take them to the Nine Divines and 'bless' the follower with each Divine.

Roleplay

The Divine Crusader follows 'The Ten Commands of the Nine Divines'. The Commands are as follows;

1. Stendarr says; Be kind and generous to the people of Tamriel. Protect the weak, heal the sick and give to the needy.
2. Arkay says: Honor the earth, its creatures, and the spirits, living and dead. Guard and tend the bounties of the mortal world and do not profane the spirits of the dead,
3. Mara says: Live soberly and peacefully. Honor your parents, and preserve the peace and security of home and family.
4. Zenithar says: Work hard, and you will be rewarded. Spend wisely, and you will be comfortable. Never steal, or you will be punished.
5. Talos says: Be strong for war. Be hold against enemies and evil, and defend the people of Tamriel.
6. Kynareth says: Use Nature's gifts wisely. Respect her power, and fear her fury.
7. Dibella says: Open your heart to the noble secrets of art and love. Treasure the gifts of friendship. Seek joy and inspiration in the mysteries of love.
8. Julianos says: Know the truth. Observe the law. When in doubt, seek wisdom from the wise.
9. Akatosh says: Serve and obey your Emperor. Study the Covenant. Worship the Nine, do your duty, and heed the commands of the saints and priests.
10. The Nine say: Above all else, be good to one another.

The Divine Crusader must slay any and all Dragons including Paarthurnax, in memory of Sir Amiel, who is the reason why the Knights of the Nine existed. The Divine Crusader challenged powerful Ayleids back in his 'time' before he supposedly 'died'. Kill any and all Thalmor you can find. If you come across any places owned by the Thalmor (examples include the Thalmor Embassy, Fort Northwatch etc.), destroy them and leave no survivors.

The reason why I recommend killing Paarthurnax is because, it is in memory of Sir Amiel and one could say that Paarthurnax is just the Wyrm of Elynglenn in disguise. You do not consult with Daedra/Daedric Lords execpt for Peryite (due to Spellbreaker) and Herma-Mora (due to defeating Miraak).

Help the Nine Divines in any way, from completing quests such as 'The Book of Love" and "The Blessings of Nature" doing so will gain you the favour of the Nine Divines.

Well I guess thats it. This was a great build to create and play. This build is the first of the Knights of the Nine (KotN) series, so expect some other builds with the KotN coming in the Workshop. Some examples are; KotN; The Scout, KotN; The Alchemist. If you have any questions or comments or have anything to say about the build, fire away. I'd like to thank Relcys for the spreads, Phil for help on the lore and roleplay and everyone in the Lore Group for helping find more about Pelinal and the Knights of the Nine.

Till next time.
