How Do You Book?

Hey y'all.

I am an avid reader of lore, skill, and generic books in any Elder Scrolls game. A lot of my most memorable and main characters have been book collectors and I love making sure I get every copy of every edition of every book in the game.

How do you handle in game books?

1) Do you read them all? Ignore them? Collect them like I do?

2) Favorite book? Any specific story of bit of history that stuck with you after reading a book?

3) Any books you would like to see in future games? Bits of history you want a spotlight on via some written word?

  • I tend to stick to books that capture my interests or at least those my characters would be interested in.

  • If my character would keep them, yes I hoard them.  Although I have an Orsimer who uses them as toilet paper (throws them in streams/ponds) or kindling (throws them in fires) ;)

  • Depends, some characters I collect em all, others I only pick up books that pique my interest. I read some of them, mostly detailing mythology or lore, or history.Probably one of my favorites is the Snow Prince. As for future books, maybe more on Shadow Magic, the Battlelords of Ebonarm, or Sword Singing.
