Another Reason to Hate the Freaking Minutemen!

I have been collecting power armor in Starlight Drive-in, my main base of operations, since I began my current playthrough. After exploring Far Harbor I brought back some goodies including a full set of Vim power armor.

I lined it up perfectly with my other sets and headed southeast. Nearby were 2 Mirelurks waiting to ambush me. I was surprised by them and totally not capable of killing both with my young character. So I send up a flare and call in the Minutemen! They are true heroes and saved my ass. But...

One of the Minutemen fuckers had on my Vim Power Armor! I can't order him to get out of he. He is just walking around saying "I saw your flare...". UGH!!!

So the Minutemen steal your power armor. Now I know. Now I have another reason to hate the freaking Minutemen.

  • Can I hate them for the strategic blunder of sending their top commander alone to far flung ends of the Commonwealth to rescue settlements?

    • I think everyone wants to tell Preston "I'm the boss now, you fucking go".

      • Its what happens when Bethesda writes themselves into a corner by making the protagonist leader of a faction. You end up with this weird inverted chain of command where lower subordinates point their boss in the direction they want their boss to go in.

        • Bethesda often makes you the leader far too quickly. Do one thing for the Minutemen and I am their leader. If you aren't a leader right away, once you become the leader you have nothing left to do with that faction. They really should let us give some orders too.

          • Its the cause of all my roleplay woes in Skyrim, which often leaves me reluctant to finish faction quests.

  • I just noticed they stole 2 full sets of power armor. Punk ass cowards! I might call them in from now on to ambush them and end them forever.
