The Nameless Monk

So I've been looking for a place to post character builds and i've recently run into the idea of a pacifist playthough that got me intrigued.

Currently im only level 5 as i just started tonight on my ps4 special edition with survival mode, but here it is:

I'm playing a Nord known as The Nameless Monk, he has forsaken all of his possessions and was wrongly and nearly put to death because of a case of mistaken identity, everyone believes him to be the dragonborn, but he's too polite to correct them. He's a vegan pacifist who believes that all life should be treasured so not even the undead are harmed by him, instead he uses stealth and trickery to lead any enemies towards traps, or he uses fury and calming spells. He doesn't use animal parts for alchemy either, instead he relies upon the land. He never steals, unless it's harvesting crops on a farmland, and he only steals from a person if that said individual has passed away, even then he feels bad about it.

Spoilers

Im aware that I will have to kill Alduin, and other characters at some point in the game, but i'm leaving all the necessary killing for the end.

For the endgame of my character, once he's saved the world (including dlc), he's going to settle down and build a house, and since he broke his vow of killing with the dragon, he will break his vow of celibacy and settle down with a family

  • Hey Thatguy, the idea of your build seems interesting as pacifists are always a bit complex to build. The site has a WIP section for builds that are not completed yet, you might want to use it.

  • Hey mate, good to see a post from a new member!

Sounds like you've got some interesting ideas here that could be built on further on both the gameplay and roleplay side of your character here. This does seem like more of a rough playthrough instead of some of the more structured builds we have in the group.

I'd recommend checking out some of the links on the Character Building group's homepage for further guidance here: https://theskyforge.ning.com/groups/tes-character-building or hit me up directly if you'd like to discuss further!
