Corvus Rem: Chapter 3 - Cast/Characters

Corvus Rem: A former and legendary assassin/master thief from the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild on the run from the Aldmeri Dominion. He is heavily based on John Wick (Keanu Reeves), with whom he shares most of his characteristics such as his unparalleled skills and strong desire for revenge. His nickname is "Sithis Incarnate", which shares the same sentiment as John Wick's "Baba Yaga/Boogeyman".

Sabirah al-Saran: A former master assassin and thief from the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild (aka the Golden Bat) and a former friend of Corvus. She is a Redguard vampire who became infected with vampirism around the 2nd era 582 during the Planemeld, making her one of the oldest living members of the criminal underworld combined. She is the manager of the Shadow Continental in Abah’s Landing in Hammerfell and owns two death hounds. She is based on Sofia Al-Azwar by (Halle Berry) in John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum.

 

The King of Beggars: An orc leader of Skyrim’s spy network that masquerade as beggars, who had a history with Corvus. His group are also worshippers of Namira, the Daedric Prince of Darkness and Decay. The orc was inspired by the story of Wheedle and received the same power that Wheedle received, which would make it effective for him and his beggars to gain wealth and information. His network of spies is frequently used by members of the Shadow Continental, particularly by members of the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. His character is heavily inspired by The Bowery King, played by Laurence Fishburne.

 

Zah’jir: A brown furred khajiit assassin who leads a band of khajiit assassins called the Black Moon Cats, who works for the Thalmor. They specialize in Whispering Claw and Goutfang as their primary styles of combat and use tantos and wakizashi as their weapons. They are expert in infiltration and capable of silently dispatching targets in crowded areas without anyone noticing. While not working as assassins, Zah’jir and a few of his students’ masquerade as a khajiit caravan’s merchants. Zah’jir is based on Zero (Mark Dacascos), who also leads a band of shinobi assassins in John Wick Chapter 3.

  • He has two elite pupils, who are both white furred khajiits. They are inspired by Zero’s two Shinobis (Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian).

 

The Thalmor Adjudicator: An altmer who acts as an adjudiactor for the Thalmor /Aldmeri Dominion. The Thalmor sends an adjudicator to resolve situations that may not necessarily require extreme forces and to adjudge an individual in making a choice that can be resolved without violence if possible. She is based on a character with the same name played by Asia Kate Dillon in John Wick Chapter 3.

 

Nazir: A member of the Dark Brotherhood and old friend of Corvus, who acts as the current concierge at the Violet Rift. His role is partially based of Charon (Lance Reddick)

 

 Maven Black-Briar: The patriarch of the Black-Briar family in Riften who shares an extended history with Corvus. She extended her business beyond her meadery, as she came to own a theater near Whiterun that act as a front for her own guild called the Black Briar Dancers, who specializes in various shady dealings. She gave Corvus a “Black Briar Token” which she gave as a sign of trust and respect that can be used in exchange for an immense favor. She is an original character in Skyrim, but her role is partly inspired by The Director (Angelica Huston) in John Wick Chapter 3.

 

 Brynjolf: A retired master thief who is now the manager of Skyrim's Shadow Continental who operates at Riften where the Thieves Guild still operates. He has grown old considerably after many years since the Thieves Guild questline and now manages the logistics and management of the Shadow Continental. His role is based on Winston (Ian Mcshane) who runs the The Continental in the films.

 

 Queen of the Aldmeri Dominion/Thalmor: The ruler of the third Aldmeri Dominion and sits above the Thalmor council. However, she acts more like a figurehead and rarely interferes with the Thalmor, unless the council collectively agrees to let her decide on an issue or that she is being sought out. Her existence is largely kept in secret by the Thalmor council and certain individuals since she does not reside in Tamriel and is hidden in a pocket realm that can only be accessed in a few locations in Tamriel. Her role is inspired by the Elder (Said Taghmaoui) in John Wick Chapter 3, who sits above the High Table.

 

 Bedistyr: A Breton crime lord who leads a crime syndicate in Sentinel, has connections with the Shadow Continental and Sabirah’s former employer. He managed to kill the current ruler and rules the city with fear and an iron fist. He is inspired by Berrada (Jerome Flynn).
