THE AYLEID SORCERER KING

I would just like to say right off the bat that I know there are plenty of Ayleid builds not just on this site but plenty of others. I have not read any of them so I am just letting you know I am not directly ripping anyone off, I was just watching a lore video about the Empire and it was talking a little bit about the ayleids so created this. With that out of the way I hope you enjoy the build.13269090067?profile=RESIZE_584x

BACKSTORY

The Ayleid Sorcerer King was born into Ayleid royalty and was incredibly skilled with magic from a young age. But his father who worshipped Auriel and hated necromancy was scared to put his son onto the throne who had always had a fascination with the Daedra and necromancy so when his father knew he was nearing the end of his reign he prayed to Auriel to make his sons reign good and holy. But as soon as his father handed him the crown and gave him the throne he declared Molag bal to be the patron deity of his city and it was required to send Nede sacrifices to him. Of course his father was ashamed and sad because of all the daedra worship but he never left Auriel. By his 150th year of his reign worship of the Aedra was stricly forbidden and his father had passed away. Although there was one silver lining and that was the Alessian rebellion. One day the armies of the Alessian rebellion marched up to his city and after three days of armies invading his city. Him and some of his men who liked worshiping the Daedra fled the city and went north to skyrim. In Skyrim they constructed a city in the area where helgen is today hidden in the mountains. It was in the style of Ayleids but was never great as the old Ayleid cities in the south. He remained king and had a tense and uneasy alliance with the dwemer and nords but his poeple mainly kept to themselves. Eventually war broke out when the Dragon Cult demanded praise and worship. The war lasted nearly thirty years but the nords brought an army of dragons and warriors destroyed his city and the dragon priests broke into his palace they were not strong enough to kill him but ended up sealing him away and the Dragon Cult erased his city from history. Thousands of years later in the fourth era some Imperial historians found an ancient stone tablet that stated

Long has it been since the reign of the terrible Daedric king most brutal and terrible of all the Ayleid sorcerer kings he who connected the living and the dead through dark rituals and tormented those who loved Akatosh. The coward of a king who fled to the north to escape Allessian wrath.

The researchers and historians all headed to skyrim to find any remnants of him or his people in skyrim. So they packed up and left for skyrim when they arrived near helgen they stayed there for a while. Then headed up the mountains after nearly half a year of searching for anything they were about to give up until they went into a cave to hide from some rain when they saw ancient ayleid armor. when they went in further they found a ruined Ayleid city they knew they had found it and as they made they're in to the sealing chamber they found old nordic carvings that said

Never break the seal of elven horror and if you do you shall be destroyed. But of course they broke the seal and unleashed the Sorcerer king and the last thing they would ever hear was finally I am free to exact my revenge on all men. But after all that time locked away his power had diminished almost completely13270414900?profile=RESIZE_584x

ROLEPLAY

Sorry for such a huge backstory but it is necesarry for a good roleplaying experience. The sorcerer king hates nords and imperials and views them as inferior to himself. He harbors a huge hate for the empire making people like Ulfric tolerable he also respects the Thalmor and will make Maven black briar an ally. as well as having mastery over the underworld of skyrim like the Dark brotherhood Thieves Guild etc. At the end of the day he wants to destroy the empire completely. Also religion if taken seriously impacts life more than nearly anything and worshipping Molag bal is already pretty immoral so this character can do anything and the Ayleids are never looked at as good people of any kind. While he may be evil but every evil person still needs a place to call home and he finds this in Bloodchill manor and then to dominate in the political aspect of skyrim he will want to make Golden hills plantation his main source of his income he will also want to become Thane of all the holds. In his worship of Molag bal he will take Lord Harkons gift and become a vampire. With an army of vampires power over the criminal world and lots of money and political power he will rule tamriel from the shadows. But in his dark necromancer fort Gallows Hall secluded from prying eyes he will practice necromancy and do dark expirements to summon the daedra and bring back the Ayleid empire bigger and better than ever.

GAMEPLAY

This build is a pure mage who will not use a single weapon in the entire playthrough as he views them as an inferior tool opposed to magic. So he will use primarily conjuration and destruction as well as illusion and one alteration spell. He will use the spell conjure bone collossus as well as wrathman. The way he fights is casting Mayhem on his enemies and make them start killing eachother then take them on with his undead minions while his undead minions fight up close he will use the spell touch of death and then use equilibrium to bring his magika back up and keep using his spells. when the dusts settles he will use the ritual stone power and turn all his fallen enemies into his undead army.

RACE/STATS

The race closest to the ancient Ayleids is Altmer so that is the ideal choice.

For the health to magika to stamina ratio you have no purpose for putting anything into stamina or health so pump everything into magika.

  • Congrats on your new build! Nice presentation, mobile friendly to read and good job on pictures.

1.) I tried calculating the final lvl of the build, but could you add it?

2.) "One day the armies of the Alessian rebellion marched up to his city and after three days of armies marching into his city. " -You might want to correct this sentence. There might be some other sentences that need proofreading.

    3) you didn't add ring or necklace so if I can suggest: Ring of Erudite +100 mana and some regen.(volkihar radiant quest rings of power) and Necromancer Amulet (Blood on Ice quest in Windhelm). Those should be perfect for your playstyle and RP. Cheers!

    • Thanks for the feedback. I wrote this late the other night but I will go back through and proof read. For the final level I am sure you could get it to at least lvl 50 but I kind of designed this build as a build that could do any morally gray quests. I also think those volkihar radiant rings would work great or any ring with fortify conjuration.
