-Description-
The Raven of Minerva is best described as a roleplay heavy warlock/shadow mage build with a redemption arc. If you like characters that develop over the course of the playthrough, this build is for you! You'll get to strut around as a noble with a silver tongue, and fence anyone who backtalks you. But your true strength lies in your practice of forbidden magic cooked up in the bowels of an abandoned manor...
This character's motivations and plans change, over the course of four chapters. I've always loved seeing builds separate their roleplay elements into chapters, so I'll do that here too!

-Mods-
Triumvirate - Mage Archetypes;ย Absolutely essential for the build. The Raven of Minerva will be casting spells from this mod, and their playstyle benefits heavily from it.
Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim;ย One of my favorite mods. Perfect for this build.
Bird Races of Skyrim;ย Essential for the build. The Raven of Minerva is a snowy owl man in my mind, but he can be any one of the avian races if you'd like. And it will thematically make sense.
Andromeda - Standing Stones of Skyrim;ย The changes to the standing stone passives make the selected Lady Stone a lot more viable.
Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim;ย Adds some more really cool spells you can have fun with.
Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim (optional);ย Worshipping Nocturne makes sense given context, but there's a bigger argument for why it doesn't. I'll leave it up to you.
Mirai - The Girl with the Dragon Heart (optional);ย Romance can play a big role in the outcome of the Raven's journey. I simply picked the romance mod I believed fit best. If you'd like, any romance/companion mod will work.
-Backstory-
The Raven of Minerva was born on an isle a few miles off the northeastern coast of Skyrim. This isle was called Tutim Paradisa, and the only inhabitants of this island were the Ordovas. The Raven was The Ordovas were more of a secret society than a family. Started many years ago by Marie Minerva, a Breton mage, the Ordovas were dedicated to using dark, jury-rigged magic only they were attuned to, as a means to enforce their dark and draconic will upon the world. Marie Minerva, being a devout worshipper of Nocturne, fused her descendents' genetic makeup with the birds of the world, giving the Ordovas their unique appearance. Each Ordova was born with an innate ability to cast shadow magic, as well as magic that manipulated the spiritual foundation of living things.
The Raven of Minerva, the most recent of the Ordova breed,ย

4E 201 - My journies in the land of Skyrim are off to a smashing start. At aproximately four in the morning, I was captured by Imperial soldiers, and lumped in with a bunch of low-class rebels. Judging by their self-righteous attitudes and their sense of entitlement, I believe it's safe to say they are the Stormcloaks.
Carted off to the nearby town of Helgen, we were to be put to the axe. But, as if by some demented miracle from on high, an actual dragon appeared and razed the town. I would not have believed it had it not blown flames and blasts of pure, unrelenting force in my face.
The rest is a blur. I fled so quickly, I didn't even think about what was going on around me. When I eventually found time to rest, I looked around and realized I was in the lower class town of Riverwood. For now, I will rest at the Sleeping Giant Inn. But once I have my energy back, my exploration can truly begin. That dragon was no mere coincidence, nor a miracle. I must first establish a presence in the nearest Hold. Shouldn't be hard; these inbreds already look at me like I'm their savior.
Quests; Dragon Rising, Bandit Camp (Jarl Balgruff)
Objectives; Purchase Breezehome, Research the Standing Stones, Gather Spells, Berate Peasants
