Hello there fellow builders! The idea of this build came from an old build by legendary Mason: The Fallen Hero. I wanted to do the exact opposite of it.
Backstory outline:
Captain Thorig and his faithfull familiar on a night patrol overlooking Windhelm.
Thorig, born and raised in Windhelm is a die-hard Stormcloak and Talos worshipper. He's a good, honest and brave soldier and a loving husband of (someone from windhelm) and father of Sophie. After helping the Jarls stuard solve those murder mysteries and becoming Thane of Windhelm, Thorig purchased his home, Hjerim.
During the war he will also join the noble Companions to earn an extra coin for the family. Soon enough he rises the ranks of companions joining the Circle.
With his newfound powers of Lycanthropy our hero climbs the Stormcloak military ladder and his fame grows, but not without a price. The nightmares of fallen brothers in arms and limbless enemies begging for mercy intensify with each battle. Everyone at Candlehearth Hall loves our rising star and wishes to hear the heroes' tales of glorious battles. They buy him mead and ale one after another, and before long someone introduces him to skooma. By the time our hero becomes Storm-Hammer he is anxious, can't sleep without mead and scooma. His child and wife start to fear him as his bursts of anger almost reach physical form. After an evening of heavy drinking in “Dead man's drink” Inn, Thorig receives a silver ring with wolf-head from some condemned sod. The memories are hazy. He comes back home in the little hours like always and the wife starts yapping and nagging about this and that. Suddenly an uncontrollable rage possessed Thorig as he transforms into the beast and reaps his wife to shreds. With his beast vision he smells and sees Sophie, paralysed with horror, peeking through the crack in her room's door. With a foggy realisation of what he's done, the beast that is Thorig leaps away from the house and out of the city-gate knocking aside anyone in his way. Unable to face his shame, Thorig never returns to Windhelm, leaving poor Sophie orphaned for the second time.
Our hero has fallen and the second half of the build begins.
Thorig stays away from big settlements, builds a small homestead in the wilds, growing herbs and being with his dogs, the only ones who would not judge. After that fateful night in the cursed house of Hjerim Thorig does the Hircine's bidding to get rid of the cursed ring and receives Savior's Hide. He completes companions ' quest line and cures his lycanthropy (or not). But the hunger for flesh is almost unbearable, leading Thorig to the catacombs of Markarth to become Namiras champion. To be continued...
Race: Nord is the only acceptable choice, however orcs and bosmers make excellent beastmasters if you wish to completely ignore my backstory.
Stone: Warrior for combat, switch to thief when crafting potions. Atronach for late game.
Major Skills: Two Handed, Light Armor, Alchemy, Conjuration, Alteration.
Minor Skills: Block, Archery.
Shouts: Elemental Fury, Become Ethereal, Unrelenting Force, Call of Valor, Dragon Aspect, Dragonrend, Kyne's peace
Stats: 200 Magicka than 2 health 1 stamina.
Equipment: Start with stormcloak armour set, amulet of talos and best generic ring you find.
Hands: Scaled Bracers of Eminent Sure Grip
Feet: Predator's Grace if using USSEP, Scaled Boots of Eminent Stamina if not
Body: Savior's Hide
Head: Stormcloak Officer Helmet is aesthetically most pleasing
(self enchanted with conjuration, unparked should get you about 10-12% reduction, it's something)
Neck: Amulet of Talos
Finger: ring of Namira
Weapons: Start with Skyforge steel Battleaxe and pick up Longhammer as soon as you can. I consider Unique Uniques SE mod replacer of Longhammer absolutely crucial for aesthetics of this build.

Combat: Drink all your potions, sneak to observe your point of attack, summon a bear in the middle of your enemies, equip Longhammer with elemental fury and start cracking skulls. That's the meat of it. Bears and dogs can't shoot down dragons, that's why I used summoned bow until dragonrend. Oh and by dog I mean the one and only immortal Barbas. I'll expand on Combat and special moves later on.
All constructive criticism is very welcome! However I'm especially having problems explaining why a hardcore stormcloak would want to learn conjuration. Was one of his parents a court mage or a witch? Nah, too boring. I only used familiar and bound battleaxe at beginning, then I used all my money from alchemy to rush-train lvl 75 conjuration to get the bear. I definitely want to avoid both atronachs and necromancy, although ice atronach could be considered. I appreciate any suggestions to make my conjuration progress more natural and RP fitting. Same goes to alteration, but I suppose smart soldiers learn to get extra protection where they can. I considered using the Frost Cloak spell, as it goes well with the Storm-hammer title, but 5 perk investment is too much.
