As Selene’s light breaks the twilight, I follow the winged messenger, descending in a perpetual spiral toward an eternity that lies beyond the ken of man.
I am given two paths; one of serene fields awash with unfathomable beauty, the other a violent and infernal maelstrom born of my own corruption.
Yet we continue to whirl in solemn perpetuity for I know not what I know and yet choose I must or face perdition.
I languish in indecision no more and I fall toward a slumber that will see my eternity realized.
As Charon beckons me, the gloom of the Stygian calls and I go forth to my infinity.
