Floopy, the thread is about characters outside the main quest.
I think every single member of the Thieves Guild has is much more fetching than any other npc, all of them have different and interesting backstories, unique dialogues... but if I had to choose just one: Delvin Mallory
I think Isran. I remember the first time I spoke to him how unique his dialogue and delivery was compared to the rest of the NPCs. He'd probably be a bit more intimidating if he wasn't so short.
The Ebony Warrior.
So much mystery behind him. This Redguard is larger than any other man on Nirn. He uses the Thuum. His only goal is going to Sovngarde.
What is his backstory?
Where was he the entire game?
Blows my mind.
