Personally I just try not to mix crafting skills together, or if I do, I limit how much I perk into em
What Chris said... I avoid combining two crafting skills in a single build, and I avoid crafting exploits at all costs. It's too easy to make an entirely broken character with crafting in Skyrim and the tempation is too great, so it's best to avoid it all together.
I will use other "exploits" though, like using Necromage on a Vampire to get stronger enchantments from gear, but I'd never combine it with Enchanting, only base game gear.
