Hey everyone. Along the way I got to thinking that our growing community of new builders dont have access to the treasure trove of knowledge that older builders had in past Skyrim communities. So I thought I'd create a simple thread where anyone can post any interesting tricks and exploits, and even little quirks about the game that they come across. I'll even start us off.

The spells Courage, Rally, & Call to Arms all stack.
The end result is an ally( or allies) with a metric ton more health, stamina, and weapon proficiency than they typically possess. Word of advice: Courage will be difficult to aim in the midst of battle, so its best to use this combo right before a big fight.

The trick also works with the second rank of Steady Hand. Draw a bow, hit the 'sheath' button, and quickly use the first word of Slow Time.
The staff of chain lightning has the impact perk built into it. Meaning you can stagger enemies with it even if you yourself have not invested in the dual casting of impact perk.
Nice tip.

You can move significantly faster while sneaking if you draw your weapon while sneaking. Once you draw your weapon you will notice yourself sneak walking a lot faster. You will need to keep moving to maintain this boost in speed. This will even work with bare fists.

The perks Extra Pockets (Pickpocket) and Recover (Restoration) are affected by Fortify Restoration potions, so it's always a good idea to chug one before perking up.

Spell absorption can absorb not just spell damage but diseases and souls as well. You may have noticed the spell absorption animation go off when you get bitten by a skeever or a bear. That's actually spell absorption negating the disease effect.
If you have the soul stealer perk from the enchanting tree, souls you trap and upon killing enemies will replenish a small amount of magicka. The jury is still out on whether the size of the soul has any effect on magicka gained.

Damage runes (fire frost shock) will do more damage if the rune is spawned directly underneath an enemies feet.
Yeah looking back I under sold just how incredible the damage is. Combined with dual casting these runes would blow limbs clear off bodies if skyrims engine allowed for that sort of thing.
I have heard that about runes but never was able to duplicate it at all. I was testing it a ton on console and it never did double or triple the damage for me when I place a rune at an NPC's feet.
I am not saying it is false. I am only saying I could not reproduce it myself.
