The Dwemer

This will be my first of many skyrim builds. This is the dwemer he is a warrior and a super genius. This is one of my favorite builds I have played and I hope you enjoy it as well.

BACKSTORY

The dwemer was born in the Velothi mountains and was named Kazzarmac (Kazz)(arr)(mack) He worked with highcraftlord Kagernac and Yagrum Bagarn. Kazzarmac worked on the Numidium with the highcraftlord but with his freetime he worked on a time machine. He payed very close attention to every step and it took him years to design. One day around the year 700 of the first era Kazzarmac recieved word of a Chimer invasion. he watched as Dumac Dwarf King rallied his troops. He knew that if the chimer found him and Kagernac they would surely kill him. So he went  over to his time machine and set it to transport him thousands of years into the future. In the blink of an eye he was in the middle of nowhere and in the future. Kazzarmac was missing his tools and clothes he did not know what went wrong perhaps he was to ambitious. He gazed into the distance and heard men shouting and yelling when he got closer he saw a large skirmish. There were men yelling for the emperor and others yelling death to the empire. When he got closer the battle ended and men were getting loaded up on carts. As he was watcing someone came up behind him and hit him on the head. When the Dwemer woke up surrounded by Nord men he listened to them argue about being in the presence of a man named ulfric stormcloak and how a nords last thoughts should be of home. They stopped at helgen and you know the rest.

ROLEPLAY

You now know the backstory of the Dwemer now onto the role-play. The dwemer is a rather morally grey character caring more for knowledge than honor or really anyting else with this in mind he is mostly out for personal gain. Kazzarmac is an extremely egotistical and cocky character. He is not afraid of doing some rather terrible things for knowledge or power like taking advantage of daedra. I want him to embody the dwemer people and looking at the lore they could be quite cruel and brutal without much remorse so his alignment is nuetral evil. But he is not a delibrately evil person. When you are out of helgen first and foremost you want to fill in the gaps and he starts to develope a distaste of Kagernac he really wants to find out where his poeple have gone. This build can really do any quests but I am not a fan of dark brotherhood because he has no reason to be an assasin. Kazzarmac will also want to master the Thuum as it is a form of tonal manipulation which the dwemer mastered. You will also want to live in the Dwemer home added by Anniversary Edition.

ARMOR/WEAPONS

Kazzarmac will use the classic tools of the dwemer as weapons. The legendary Keening and Sunder using these awesome weapons really ties the dwemer build together also you will want to make use of Spellbreaker. For armor I chose the dwarven plate armor but really any dwarven armor will work. You will also want to wear the dwarven gauntlets known as wraithguard. Then if you would like uou could wear the dwarven crown helmet which looks pretty cool I think

                         GAMEPLAY

The dwemer will want to switch between keening and sunder with the Spellbreaker sheild. Then just brutally take down enemies and shield bash alot. All in all he is really just a warrior build with some unique roleplaying.

                          RACE/STATS

For the race I went with a dark elf with pale skin and white eyes white
hair and the biggest beard you can. However if you play with mods the Dwemer race mod with the dwemer beards mod I heavily recomend but I dont have an expensive PC so mods are glitchy for me.

ONE HANDED take all 5 in armsman 3 in bone breaker, savage strike and paralyzing strike

BLOCK 3 in sheild wall, quick reflexes then go all the way up the left side of the tree to shield charge

HEAVY ARMOR put 5 in juggernaut then go all the way up the left side of the skill tree

SMITHING just take arcane blacksmith and dwarven smithing

ENCHANTING 5 in enchanter, insightful enchanter and soul squeeszer

And that is it I hope you enjoy this build as much as I have. Please give feedback as this is my first build and I want to know how I could improve

  • Hi, congrats on your first build. Id recommend not centering all your text. Id alsl recommend breaking up your text with more images. Also, gameplay section. Break down how this character fights

    • thanks for the feedback

  • Nice job on your first build. Dwemer is always one of the more interesting yet harder race to roleplay. I quite like the backstory, as it gives your Dwemer a good reason for being on Skyrim and what his objective is. Chris had addressed most of the issues, and I agree with him.

    • There are some formatting inconsistencies, especially on the GAMEPLAY and RACE/STATS sections, which look kinda messy and unorganized. Some of the texts are centered, while the rest are aligned to the left. Also, make sure to give a space between each header section so they don't look too cramped.
    • The gameplay could use more elaboration. I understand this part is not the focus of your build, but it looks too basic at least for me. You also haven't mentioned what shouts your character uses and what enchantments you put on your equipment.
    • Roleplay-wise, I'd say you have great potential here which unfortunately has not been thoroughly explored yet. I get the gist that your Dwemer is seeking out an answer to what happened to his race as he time-traveled to the present-day Skyrim, and he will do the necessary means to get the answer, but then... what's next? What will he do after learning about the fate of his race? Will he just accept it and live a secretive life in a Dwemer house away from the world's prying eyes just like what Bagrum did? Or will he try to return back the time so he could prevent the catastrophe that about to befall his race? Or perhaps he will rebuild the glory of the Dwemer in this fourth era?
    • While he would like to bring back the power and glory of the Dwemer in the fourth era that is almost impossible. But one of the big reasons he works with Arniel Gane is if What Kagrenac did could be reversed even on the same level Arniel did then he would be a step in the right direction. Also there is no one in skyrim who knows the secrets of the dwemer like him and he does not plan on sharing them. Another thing is that i write all my stuff an a computer and I primarily play on Nintendo Switch so I dont know how to get my characters pictures that would be perfect for this on here yet. Thank you for your feedback and I am glad you liked the backstory.

      • That is already the answer. From my perspective, I could see the roleplay flow in two stages;

        • the first being his search for the answer to what happened to his race,
        • and the second is what he will do after getting the answer.

Your ROLEPLAY section already gives good hints about the first stage, but it leaves the second stage a bit ambiguous. If the reader decided to play this build, like I said, they might ponder the question, "Okay... I have delved into Dwemer ruins and done some Dwemer-ish quests, etc. So what should I do next?"

Thinking about these questions could help you give the immersion that pizzazz, especially since the build is more focused on roleplay. Yes, roleplaying some elements on vanilla is almost impossible, but the beauty of char building is exploring new ideas/mechanics and making make-believe out of them. I would suggest including that answer and your thoughts in the ROLEPLAY section.

Regardless, I'm piqued to see your next builds. Congrats. :)

        • Thank you I will work on this and make sure to use this feedback on my next builds.

      • You can either ask around if people can do screenshots for you, or failing that, look around online for fitting art

        • That is what I did with the cover.
