Altmeris
Altmeris is the tongue spoken by the Altmer of Sumerset - a race of rather self-confident mages and quite proficient wizards who are more often than not misunderstood as being snobbish. Albeit the Thalmor fit that cliche, most non-Thalmor Altmer are unjustly accused of such supremacist behaviour. Nevertheless, a good deal of Altmer mages do in fact consider themselves superior to others, mostly non-mages.
The language itself is said to have directly descended from Aldmeris and as such, the Altmer view their ancient heritage as noble and superior. A very traditional tongue indeed.
