Ysgrulf is related to Ysgramor, and Yngol, due to his Grandfather who lived at that time was cousins with Yngol, and fought along side them, but he died during my the Night Of Tears, being awakes by the Snow Elves killing the people there, so he picked up his weapons and fought and killed dozens of Elves before he was overwhelmed and killed by the Snow Elves.
