This is legit the first time I've done this quest that I've actually given the star back to Azura. the Black Star's just too gud.
After clearing out Malyn Varen's soul (and collecting a good few Daedra Hearts for no real reason), Ararvyne was given Azura's Star, as well as a future ally which he would find great use for.
