  • I honestly usually stick to either Altmer or Bosmer. I like the appearance and both have interesting lore.

  • I'd always have to go with the Imperials for game playing, but in terms of lore it's a coin toss between The Dunmer and The Khajiit. Cats that change based on the moons and led by a Me(ow)ssiah... sign me up. And the edgy elf archetype is one of my favourites. Just can't beat it, not even counting how they are the main Padomaic group while also being Elves

  • I like Argonians because they have a natural affinity for mother nature as well as having a wicked cool backstory. Having poison and disease resistance is a nice bonus as well. I also appreciate them having the waterbreathing abilities so I can explore the countless, fathomless depths of the deep chasms of the sea. Also, I personally have an affinity for water in general, fish and other seafood, so I guess I'm biased.

I also like the lore based around them. Their race and lore remind me of native americans who actually live off the earth to survive and they depend on her as she does consequentally for them; kind of a symbiotic relationship. As many other commentors said, human races didn't sit right with me, I prefer playing something different. I feel beast races are often misundersttod and, finding synergy with this idea, I ultimately decided to play as a marginally underappreciated race, an underdog if you will. I also felt really bad for the undue racism being tossed in their way, but they did not let the threat of alienation bring them down. I like that.
