Hey everyone. Along the way I got to thinking that our growing community of new builders dont have access to the treasure trove of knowledge that older builders had in past Skyrim communities. So I thought I'd create a simple thread where anyone can post any interesting tricks and exploits, and even little quirks about the game that they come across. I'll even start us off.
Did you know ....
The spells Courage, Rally, & Call to Arms all stack.
The end result is an ally( or allies) with a metric ton more health, stamina, and weapon proficiency than they typically possess. Word of advice: Courage will be difficult to aim in the midst of battle, so its best to use this combo right before a big fight.

Can you fast travel while they are ashy?
Having trouble killing those forsworn briarheart warriors? Maybe this will help.
Did you know....
Successfully pickpocketing the briarheart from a forsworn briarhearts inventory will kill them instantly. You are afterall ripping their heart right out of their chest.

If you pickpocket someone who is rag dolled (Unrelenting Force, Paralysis, etc), then you will have a 100% pickpocket success rate even if it says 0%.
To specify, when enemies are trying to get back up after paralysis/ash shell/ fling effect of Whirlwind Cloak, they are completely vulnerable to all forms of theft.
What's even more interesting is that this can be done In the middle of combat, making Pickpocket a somewhat viable disarming skill. Been working on a build using this, but this method of fighting is only effective against humanoids, it seems.
Isn't pickpocket only available when you're out of combat? I was in sneak mode when a guard was attacking me and it didn't prompt the pickpocket option.
You'r right. Enemies engaged in combat or attempting to detect the player cannot be pickpocketed. But what you might be able to do is paralyze an enemy totally undetected and then loot them.
That's the charm of the glitch! Enemies in recovery phase may be robbed without restraint, even if Pickpocket shouldn't function in non-stealth combat at all.
The only time this won't work is if you tried to pickpocket an enemy while hidden, fail and alarm the target, and then try to ragdoll and rob him again. Otherwise, enemies aware of your presence can be robbed blind if you have the right tools (read: Fus Ro Dah)
The main and only issue I have with this is that humanoids aren't too difficult to deal with, and this glitch only makes an easy job easier. It doesn't even outright kill, but works as a more versatile version of the Disarm shout.
