Shortly after making quick work of a slimy pair of Argonian siblings and a laughably weak batch of Blackblood bandits, Ararvyne cleaned the place of every bit of loot he could carry. If they thought they could procure his services for free and then off him at their convenience, they were sadly mistaken. However, within one hidden chest lay a special crystal. When Ararvyne held it in his hands, a godly voice appeared in his head.
"A new hand touches the beacon... Listen! Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. Return my beacon to Mount Kilkreath, and I will make you the instrument of my cleansing light..."
Afterwards, Ararvyne had looked through a book he'd obtained during his travels "The Book of Daedra", and searched through its contents to figure out which Daedric Prince was giving orders. Cuz it sure as hell wasn't a Divine. He came to understand the Prince as Meridia, Daedric Prince of life energies.
He was an avid Daedra supporter, seeing them as more potent and worship worthy than the useless and impotent Divines that mortals hopelessly pray to. Thus, he sets out to Mount Kilkreath to complete this task.
