BRING BACK MYSTICISM.
Came here to say this. WHERE'S MUH MARK? WHERE'S MUH RECALL?
I’d redo Destruction completely because it’s spells scale really poorly at higher levels.
Have you seen some of the mage builds on this site?! If anything they ought to have nerfed destruction!
I just feel like whenever I roll a Destruction mage I cant do enough damage and I run out of magic so fast.
You need alchemy in yo life. Smush dem herbs.
Step 1 to any good mage build is establishing what you're going to do to prevent yourself from depleting your magicka, or figuring out how you intend to fight on when you do.
Have you seen either the crystallurgist by John or the force adept by curse never dying in action? Their destruction damage potential is through the damn roof.
Conjuration for me.
I want to summon more types of Daedra.
What they should have done with illusion spells is have enemy levels affect their duration rather than whether they work at all. So a weak fury spell would last all of 5 seconds against a level 40 enemy.
They could have taken it a ste further and introduced new effects against enemies whose levels are below that of the spells themselves. For example if your fear spell has an effective level of 30 then casting it on an enemy below that would maybe slow their movement speed to go along with being fear striken.
When you consider the fact that you can’t normally see enemy levels Illusion spells are kind of a gamble.
